Patent number: 8403562Abstract: A wiper seal is less in sliding resistance that is encountered when the seal slides over a raceway surface of a guide rail, better in wear-proof quality, rich in durability, and further easy to steadily install it to a slider. The wiper seal is installed on one end of the slider in a linear motion guide system to wipe away foreign materials adhered on the guide rail. The wiper seal is made of polyester polyurethane foam having a reticular skeleton texture of three-dimensional construction including open-cells therein, the polyester polyurethane foam being squeezed or compressed into from ¼ to 1/20 in thickness to form a compact blank of three-dimensional construction having porosity therein. The wiper seal is set to come into sliding contact with the guide rail 1 to exert a positive interference of from 0.1 mm to 0.05 mm.Type: GrantFiled: December 4, 2008Date of Patent: March 26, 2013Assignee: Nippon Thompson Co., Ltd.Inventors: Toshiaki Geka, Hideaki Ogura, Shigeki Kakei, Tamotsu Iwata

Patent number: 7762722Abstract: A linear motion guide unit is disclosed in which a tubular composition to provide a return passage is high in mechanical stiffness and also makes certain of sustainable application of lubricant to rolling elements rolling through the return passage, thereby ensuring proper lubrication under maintenance-free operation. The tubular composition to make the return passage is composed of a tubular skeleton to guide the rollers, and a porous compact impregnated with lubricant. The tubular skeleton is made up of forward and aft ends, a lengthwise column and a flexible spine, which extend between the ends. The flexible spine includes lengthwise opposite relief portions and a flexible middle section, which fit into the porous compact with separating from the porous compact to make a clearance between them. The flexible spine deflects as the rollers roll through the return passage, permitting the rollers coming into touch with the porous compact to lubricate the rollers.Type: GrantFiled: September 27, 2006Date of Patent: July 27, 2010Assignee: Nippon Thompson Co., Ltd.Inventors: Hideki Kuwabara, Tamotsu Iwata

Patent number: 4302526Abstract: The negative materials of this invention for silver complex diffusion transfer process provide silver images high in density and improved in stability on image receiving materials. Said negative materials have the following characteristics:(a) The negative materials have silver halide emulsion layer in which the weight ratio of hydrophilic colloid to silver halide in terms of silver nitrate is 2 or less and(b) furthermore, the negative materials have an undercoat layer of hydrophilic colloid on a support and the silver halide emulsion layer of (a) on said undercoat layer, the weight ratio of the hydrophilic colloid of said undercoat layer to that of said silver halide emulsion layer being at least 2.Type: GrantFiled: November 6, 1979Date of Patent: November 24, 1981Assignee: Mitsubishi Paper Mills, Ltd.Inventors: Isao Kohmura, Tamotsu Iwata, Shozi Oka
