Patent number: 6749072Abstract: A frame structure includes a pair of sideboards facing each other, each sideboard having an inner surface provided with a plurality of support grooves for receiving and supporting panel plates, a first joint for fixing one of the pair of sideboards to a base and a second joint for fixing the other of the pair of sideboards to the base and provided with a movement-effecting mechanism. The first and second joints have formed on the facing inner surfaces thereof at substantially the same height steps for contacting side surfaces of the panel plates and supporting the panel plates. At least one of the steps has a surface for contacting at one side surface of one of the panel plates prior to panel plates being received in the plurality of support grooves in order to set a distance between end surfaces of opposed ones of the plurality of support grooves equal to a sum of the width of the panel plates received in and supported by the plurality of support grooves and a predetermined clearance.Type: GrantFiled: June 11, 2002Date of Patent: June 15, 2004Assignee: NIX, Inc.Inventors: Tamotsu Matsuda, Hitoshi Takano

Patent number: 6328169Abstract: A frame structure includes a pair of side frame boards, with the inner surfaces of the side frame boards that face each other being provided with a plurality of support grooves for receiving panel plates. The frame structure has a device for adjusting the spacing between the side frame boards. The adjustment device is a projection provided on at least one of the inner surfaces of the side frame boards that face each other, the size of the projection being such that the spacing is set to an amount that is the width of the received panel plates plus a clearance.Type: GrantFiled: September 27, 2000Date of Patent: December 11, 2001Assignee: Nikko Kogyo Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Tamotsu Matsuda, Hitoshi Takano

Patent number: 6068112Abstract: A reduced friction conveyer chain is used for conveying aluminum cans, glass bottles, PET bottles and other objects in a conveyer chain system where such objects are produced continuously. The conveyer chain is especially useful in the system where the objects being conveyed are slid on the surface of the chain and relatively thereto. Since the kinetic friction coefficient of the outer surfaces of the links, which constitute the conveyer chain and on which the objects to be conveyed are put, is reduced, the slidability of the links is improved, and the bottom surfaces of the objects being conveyed are prevented from being scratched.Type: GrantFiled: March 9, 1998Date of Patent: May 30, 2000Assignee: Toray Industries, Inc.Inventors: Kenji Kasai, Yasuharu Takashima, Tamotsu Matsuda

Patent number: 5564609Abstract: A method for mounting pantyhose blanks which enables a pair of pantyhose blanks to be efficiently and accurately mounted on a stretch holder member of a crotch sewing machine employed in pantyhose sewing. Panty portions of a pair of pantyhose blanks are inserted on a pair of upper and lower insertion plates at a first position. At a second position, the panty portions are shifted widthwise on the respective insertion plates so that a cutting site at which the panty portions are to be cut is positioned in alignment with a center line extending across the insertion plate pair. At a third position, the panty portions are drawn so that run guard portions are set in position on the respective insertion plates; the panty portions are stretched in opposite lateral directions by a pair of pawls which act as a transfer member and are held as such before they are withdrawn from the insertion plate pair, the panty portions being then mounted on the stretch holder member of the crotch sewing machine.Type: GrantFiled: December 19, 1995Date of Patent: October 15, 1996Assignee: Takatori CorporationInventors: Masataka Tsuchiya, Kazuhisa Sugita, Tamotsu Matsuda

Patent number: 4534507Abstract: Air temperature regulating apparatus for a vehicle including a unit case having an air-intake chamber, an air-intake window, a mixing chamber, and a heat exchanger mounted between the air-intake chamber and the mixing chamber. A side air exit, and a bottom air exit are provided in the mixing chamber. The heat exchanger includes plural air-heating passages with plural heat-radiating fins mounted in alternating ones of the passages and a damper slideably mounted in front of the exchanger variably adjustable to change an opening area of the passages. The exchanger can be formed of a flattened empty pipe having both ends remaining round with the pipe being bent in a zig-zag shape with the flattened portions extending horizontally. The heat-radiating fins in one portion of the exchanger can have a larger surface area than those mounted in an opposite portion.Type: GrantFiled: March 3, 1983Date of Patent: August 13, 1985Assignee: Honda Giken Kogyo Kabushiki KaishaInventor: Tamotsu Matsuda

Patent number: 4108376Abstract: A heater unit for air conditioner in automotive vehicles of a construction, wherein external cool air introduced into the heater unit is led into a first bypass, through which it is directed to the upper part of the vehicle cabin, while the cool air current is distributed by a first damper to both heat exchanger and first bypass in an adjustable manner so as to effect warming and/or cooling operation, in which warm air current discharged from the heat exchanger is intermingled with the cool air current in the first bypass to prevent the air current from becoming excessively heated, and the thus intermingled warm and cool air currents at their merging point is appropriately distributed by a second damper provided in the neighborhood of the merging point so as to maintain adequate temperature difference between the upper and lower ports of the vehicle cabin; a second bypass is further provided to communicatively connect a space at the entrance side of the heat exchanger to let the cool air current in with a spaType: GrantFiled: August 1, 1977Date of Patent: August 22, 1978Assignee: Honda Giken Kogyo Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Tamotsu Matsuda, Hiroshi Kuroda
