  • Patent number: 7792142
Abstract: In the present invention, after an image mail is transmitted to a receiving-end machine (S1, S2), when a reception error occurs, an image format of image data in the image mail is altered, and the image mail including this image data (retransmission image mail) is retransmitted to the receiving-end machine (S3 through S13). That is, it is attempted to avoid the occurrence of the communication error due to the image format, by altering the image format of the image data and retransmitting the same. With this arrangement, it is possible to avoid successive occurrence of the communication errors, even if the transmission data is retransmitted. Thus, as compared to the arrangements in which retransmission is not carried out at all or identical transmission data is retransmitted, the present arrangement can improve the efficiency of data transmission.

  • Patent number: 5100304
Abstract: A solenoid-operated reciprocating pump includes a casing having a cylinder with a central axis. A main shaft is disposed in and secured at one end to the casing in alignment with the central axis of the cylinder. A piston having a piston head is slidably fitted over the main shaft such that the piston head is disposed within the cylinder for axial motion. A coil spring extends between the piston and casing to bias the piston in a first axial direction and an armature radially extends from the outer periphery of the piston for interaction with an electromagnet disposed around the longitudinal periphery of the piston. The electromagnet attracts the armature and hence the piston in a second axial direction opposite from the first direction.

  • Patent number: 5035016
Abstract: In an air-mat apparatus, air mat has four air bags, two of which have a plurality of air-jetting holes and two others of which have no holes. In a preferred embodiment, the bags having the air-jetting holes are arranged in a zigzag pattern while the remaining two bags are arranged in a comb-shaped pattern. Air ports for the bags having air-jetting holes are connected through flowrate-adjusting valves to an air-distributing valve, while the air ports of the bags having no holes are also connected to the air-distributing valve but not through the flowrate-adjusting valves. The arrangement permits two of the air bags to be inflated and deflated to a specific degree, and the other two air bags to be inflated and deflated to a different degree.

  • Patent number: 4879535
Abstract: An improved circuit breaker with remote control capability includes an electromagnet energized by a remote control signal to open and close a power contact through a collapsible mechanical linkage. The breaker also includes a manual handle which is mechanically isolated from the mechanical linkage interposed between the electromagnet and the power contact but is connected to a control switch for opening and closing the same when it is manipulated between an ON-position and an OFF-position. The control switch is utilized to be connected in a control circuit for the electromagnet in a suitable electrical relation with an excitation coil of the electromagnet to provide a desired load managing control mode.

  • Patent number: 4370634
Abstract: A circuit breaker having an arc suppressing means disposed adjacent a contactor section and including a first arc running plate extended from a fixed contactor and a second arc running plate opposed to the first arc running plate. The distance between the both arc running plates on the side close to the contactor section is minimized so as not to cause any spatial short-circuiting to occur. At portions of the both arc running plates defining the minimized distance, magnetic arc driving force motivated by mutually oppositely directed arc currents flowing through the respective arc running plates is increased to a large extent, whereby arc shifting to deion grid of the arc suppressing means can be performed effectively quickly.
