  • Patent number: 10337965
Abstract: An event is classified as a fault of hardware or a fault of a system or a control system. When the event is classified as the fault of the hardware, the event is expanded into lower events, physical quantities of the event and the lower events are acquired, and it is examined whether the event is expanded properly or not based on relationship between the physical quantity of the event and the physical quantities of the lower events. When the event is classified as the fault of the system or the control system, a block diagram of the system or the control system is created, and the event is expanded into the lower events based on input/output relationship in the block diagram of the system or the control system.

  • Patent number: 6780572
Abstract: In an optical lithography using a mask pattern, or producing a large quantity of three-dimensional articles rapidly with high precision, a predetermined mask pattern is drawn directly on the surface of a resin composition for optical lithography, and the mask pattern is irradiated with light, thereby irradiating the surface of the resin composition containing a photocurable component through the mask pattern The step of forming a cured resin layer corresponding to the drawing is repeated to form a three-dimensional article composed of multiple cured resin layers. Thus, unlike the beam scanning, the curing is uniform in cross section.

  • Patent number: 6058259
Abstract: An apparatus automatically generates a solid model from a plurality of plan views. The apparatus includes an extraction unit for extracting information related to surfaces from the plan views, a first generation unit for generating candidate surfaces based on the information extracted by the extraction unit, a second generation unit for generating candidate surfaces and candidate edge lines by obtaining intersecting lines among the candidate surfaces generated by the first generation unit, a third generation unit for generating candidate solids by determining combinations of the candidate surfaces generated by the second generation unit, and a selection unit for collating the candidate solids generated by the third generation unit with the plan views and selecting a matching candidate solid as a solid model.

  • Patent number: 5820811
Abstract: A novel optical molding process for forming a three-dimensional article from a photosensitive resin which is liquid at normal temperatures which involves forming a plurality of laminated cured resin layers by a repetition of the step of forming a cured resin layer by selectively irradiating the surface of a photosensitive resin, wherein the photosensitive resin has been coagulated by cooling and the coagulated resin is irradiated to cure it. The process can produce a three-dimensional article having an overhanging part without producing warping in the finished product and without requiring a support for the overhanging part while this part is being optically molded.

  • Patent number: 4629673
Abstract: A carrier for use as a component in electrophotographic two-component developers having improved mechanical strength, durability and triboelectric charge characteristics comprising porous magnetite particles coated with a cross linked polymeric film comprising an epoxy resin and a polyamide resin. A two-component electrophotographic developer comprising resin coated porous magnetite carrier particles and toner particles and a method of producing resin coated porous magnetite carrier particles are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 4564413
Abstract: A sheet splicer comprises two sheet roll support means, a table disposed above the sheet rolls held in place on the sheet roll support means and adapted to reciprocate above the table, and sheet guiding means disposed above the belt and adapted to reciprocate between the front and rear ends of the belt. While the sheet from the first sheet roll is being pulled out over the sheet guiding means positioned beforehand at one end of the belt, the leading end of the sheet from the second sheet roll is covered with an adhesive agent and held in place at a prescribed position on the belt at the other end thereof. As the sheet from the first sheet roll is completely drawn out of the sheet roll, the trailing end of this sheet is retained at that position and the sheet guiding means is moved to the other end of the belt. Consequently, the leading end of the sheet from the second sheet roll is allowed to be joined to the trailing end of the sheet.
