  • Patent number: 8833115
Abstract: An antitheft device having a product display case with a double locking mechanism and an unlocking device for unlocking the locking mechanism. A product display case having a locking mechanism, and an unlocking device are provided. An attachment portion for a security tag is provided on the inside of the product display case, and a first case component and a second case component are openably fitted together in an X direction. The locking mechanism has a first lock device and a second lock device that latch together in a Y direction which intersects the X direction. The first lock device locks by latching in a Y1 direction, and unlocks upon being pressed in a Y2 direction by a projection of the unlocking device. The second lock device locks by latching in the Y2 direction, and unlocks upon being pulled in the Y 1 direction by a magnet in the unlocking device.

  • Patent number: 6202454
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a security system for securing an object. The system includes a housing defining a region for storing the object. The housing includes a wall defining a plurality of through-holes. A locking member is mounted along the wall. The locking member is movable between a locked position and an unlocked position. Retaining members are connected to the locking member for retaining the locking member in the locked position. The retaining members are arranged and configured to resiliently move into the through-holes when the locking member is moved to the locked position. The system also includes an unlocking tool having unlocking members arranged and configured to fit within the through-holes. The retaining members are displaced from the through-holes by pressing the unlocking members into the through-holes such that the retaining members are pressed out of the through-holes.

  • Patent number: 5901840
Abstract: A holder for a container for a recorded medium such as a compact disk, a cassette tape, etc. comprising a holder main body for containing the recorded media container and a locking member for preventing the container from being removed. The holder main body has an open area for receiving and releasing the container and an engagement section formed on one of its peripheral sides. When a plurality of pressable pawls formed on the locking member are inserted into a plurality of through holes formed on the engagement section of the holder main body so as to prevent the locking member from being removed from the holder main body, the locking member covers at least part of the open area and confronts the container. The locking member is removed from the holder main body only by a lock releasing tool that has a plurality of projections which simultaneously press all of the plurality of pawls of the locking member.
