  • Patent number: 8680708
Abstract: In response to turning-on of a lock-type power switch, an initial controller outputs a first voltage for a first period and a gate is turned on for the period via a first driver responsive to the first voltage, then DC power is supplied to a main circuit. During the period, a control processor causes a voltage output section to start outputting a second voltage so that the gate is turned on via a second driver to continue the DC power supply. When no event has been generated for a second period, the second voltage from the voltage output section is stopped to turn off the gate, thus the power supply to the main circuit is shut off. Once a power from outside is switched from OFF to ON while the power switch kept ON, the power supply to the main circuit is resumed via the controller and first driver.

  • Patent number: 5800015
Abstract: A long slide rail device for vehicle seat, which includes a temporary lock mechanism for temporarily locking an upper rail member fixed to the seat, at a predetermined temporary lock point, relative to a long lower rail member fixed in a floor of vehicle, so that the seat may be temporarily locked at that point, allowing its seat cushion to be folded upright to its seat back, before being displaced to a storage lock position. The temporary lock mechanism includes a female lock element (or female lock hole) provided in the lower rail member at the temporary lock point, and a male lock element so arranged at the upper rail element as to lie generally within the long lower rail member and movable for engagement with and disengagement from the female lock element. Thus, the structure of long slide rail device is simplified in structure and made small in sizes.

  • Patent number: 5785292
Abstract: A long slide rail for use in a vehicle seat, which comprises an elongated or long lower rail member, an upper rail member slidably fitted in the long lower rail member and a locking mechanism. In the locking mechanism, a swing linkage is provided, which extends alongside of the upper rail member and has one end connected to a lock plate slidably mounted in the same upper rail member. Thus, both swing linkage and lock plate are arranged within area of the upper rail member, avoiding projection therefrom, which lowers the seating surface of seat to a comfortable level.

  • Patent number: 4886316
Abstract: A lumbar support device provided within a seat back of an automotive seat, which comprises a support wire having a lumbar support plate for supporting the lumbar part of an occupant on the seat, the support wire being mounted on the back frame of the seat back with such an arrangement that one end of the support wire is secured by a securing support member oriented in a direction intersecting that of a load applied to the support wire while the other end of the support wire is secured by another securing support member oriented in a direction intersecting that of an up-and-down adjustment of the support wire.

  • Patent number: 4662674
Abstract: A construction of the interior of an arm rest housing is provided. The cloth which forms the upper wall of a recessed arm rest housing is stitched to cloths forming a left and right side walls thereof keeping the seams outside. The extension of the cloth is extended around the frame located inside the seat and terminates in one end. This end is fixed to a fixing wire and a panel is affixed on the fixing wire. In this construction an improved interior construction of the arm rest housing in a seat for vehicles is disclosed wherein there is defined spaced in a portion of frame corresponding to the seams of the cloths, whereby the seams extend through such space into the inside of the seat. In this manner, bulging at the corners of the interior of the housing is avoided and the exterior appearance is enhanced.
