Abstract: Devices, systems, and methods are provided for gesture-based selections of devices. A method may include receiving, by at least one processor of a first device, an input associated with causing a second device to perform an action. The method may include identifying motion data associated with the first device. The method may include determining, based on the motion data, a gesture associated with the first device. The method may include receiving an indicator from the second device and determining, based on the indicator, that the gesture is associated with selecting the second device to perform the action. The method may include sending a command to the second device, the command associated with causing the second device to perform the action.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media are disclosed for systems and methods for reducing battery consumption for portable devices with microphones. Example methods may include receiving, by a user device, a first indication from a first device indicating that voice data is forthcoming, where the first device comprises a first battery and a first microphone. Example methods may include determining that a first battery level of the first battery is less than a threshold, and determining that a second device is in an active state, where the second device comprises a second battery and a second microphone. Methods may include sending the second device a second indication to activate the second microphone, receiving the voice data from the second device, and causing presentation of a digital response to a request associated with the voice data at the first device.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media are provided for dividing and merging online content sharing environments such as, for example, online chat rooms. An online content sharing environment may have a group of user profiles associated therewith, some subgroup of which may be exchanging message content within the online content sharing environment at any given time. If an amount of message data traffic being exchanged and/or a number of user profiles exchanging messages exceeds a corresponding threshold value, the online content sharing environment may be divided into two or more sub-environments. Respective sub-groups of user profiles may then be identified based on association criteria and associated with the various sub-environments.
