  • Publication number: 20240120024
Abstract: Genome-wide association studies may allow for detection of variants that are statistically significantly associated with disease risk. However, inferring which are the genes underlying these variant associations may be difficult. The presently disclosed approaches utilize machine learning techniques to predict genes from genome-wide association study summary statistics that substantially improves causal gene identification in terms of both precision and recall compared to other techniques.

  • Publication number: 20190054799
Abstract: A two-door HVAC air intake comprising an air intake body having a fresh air opening and first and second recirculated air openings is disclosed. A first door is provided that is movable from a first recirculation opening-unblocking/fresh air opening-blocking position to a first recirculation opening-blocking/fresh air opening-unblocking position. A second door is provided that is movable from a second recirculation opening-unblocking position to a second recirculation opening-blocking position. The doors may be shell doors or flap doors. Fresh air mode is achieved by moving the first and second doors to their recirculation opening-blocking positions. Partial air recirculation mode is achieved by moving the first door to its first recirculation opening-blocking position and the second door to its second recirculation opening-unblocking position.

  • Publication number: 20120066476
Abstract: A data writing method and a micro-operation processing system are provided. The micro-operation processing system is adapted to access a plurality of registers and each of the registers defines at least one logic storing area. The data writing method comprises the following steps: executing a first micro-operation; selecting a target area of the first micro-operation, which has been updated by the second micro-operation before, as one of the logic storing areas; assigning each of the first micro-operation and the second micro-operation a respective identification number; determining that a execution order of the first micro-operation is later than a execution order of the second micro-operation according to the identification numbers of the first micro-operation and the second micro-operation; and recording that the target area has been updated by the first micro-operation.

  • Patent number: 6118196
Abstract: A bicycle dynamo having enhanced power dynamics by having a large number of magnets 63 in alternate polarity lined up at a fixed interval along the inner circumference of the rotating mechanism 60. A circular lining 70 is outfitted and anchored around the perimeter of the main axle 20 with a transformer strapped to it. The transformer container a coil unit 81 and tow core parts; with the two core units sandwiching the coil unit 81 at its two sides. Each of the core unit is a stack having two or more core discs 82a, 82b. At an even interval around the circumference of the core disks 82a, 82b, fixed number of raised anchors 821a, 821b are formed that interconnect with different core disk anchors 821a, 821b to form a fixed set of the claw unit. Furthermore, each of the claw unit from the two core components 82 are extended out between the coil unit 81 and the magnets 63.
