  • Publication number: 20160059121
Abstract: The present invention relates to a game method for traffic reality entertainment system. The game method includes a portable device installing a program, vehicles installing vehicular systems, traffic facilities, and a cloud operating server. The traffic facility or the portable device is connected with the vehicular system. The portable device, the vehicular system, and the traffic facility are connected with the cloud operating server. When the portable device carried by a user is adjacent to the predefined vehicle or the predefined traffic facility, a game is started to perform or the cloud operating server starts to transmit the game data to the program of the portable device. Therefore, various game contents are produced by the traffic reality entertainment system according to the environment where the user stays, so the purpose of integrating the reality with the game and improving the interesting, attractive, and the sense of participation can be achieved.

  • Patent number: 8797185
Abstract: An on-board unit (OBU) with a driving-assistance function to be installed on a vehicle includes at least one wireless communication unit and a processing unit. The processing unit receives information of at least one first traffic signal and at least one second traffic signal respectively from their RSUs through the at least one wireless communication unit. The first traffic signal is installed at a first intersection, the at least one second traffic signal is installed at a second intersection, and the vehicle is closer to the first intersection than to the second intersection. The processing unit generates a suggested speed range, within which the vehicle may travel to allow the same to pass through the first intersection and the second intersection without stopping, according to the information of at least one first traffic signal and the at least one second traffic and vehicle position information of the vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20120146811
Abstract: A driving assisting system includes a traffic signal controller, an RSU, at least one data transmission interface and an OBU. The RSU is electrically connected to the traffic signal controller. The OBU is installed on a vehicle. The traffic signal controller controls a traffic light, which is located at an intersection. The RSU obtains traffic-light information of the traffic light from the traffic signal controller. The OBU receives the traffic-light information through the at least one data transmission interface from the RSU. The OBU generates dynamic vehicle information of the vehicle. The OBU determines if the vehicle will be positioned at a key zone of the intersection when the traffic light switches according to the dynamic vehicle information and the traffic-light information. The OBU responds according to a key zone type of the key zone when the vehicle is positioned at the key zone of the intersection.

  • Patent number: 8116682
Abstract: The present invention relates to a near field communication device containing a ZigBee communication module circuit linking with a Bluetooth communication module. A ZigBee module is equipped with a master central processing unit (CPU) to identify N-Fi communication protocol and enable wireless communication. The master CPU is connected with a communication chip to transmit or receive packets, and includes a ZigBee memory to store the packets temporarily. Besides, the master CPU is linked with a signal conversion/transmission circuit to enable internal exchange of information packets with the Bluetooth communication module. The Bluetooth communication module has a Bluetooth master CPU to control Bluetooth communication, and is connected with a Bluetooth communication chip to transmit and receive Bluetooth-based packets. Thus, the embedded Bluetooth module can be used to connect the electronic device that includes a ZigBee module to carry out transmission of NFC signals.
