    Abstract: A power socket includes a main body and a latch member. The main body includes a connection seat, a receiving recess and a latching slot. The connection seat is disposed within the receiving recess and configured to electrically connect with a plug passing, when the power plug is fitted in the receiving recess along a first direction. The latching slot is in communication with the receiving recess. The latch member includes an arm slidable along the latching slot from a first position to a second position along a second direction. The arm includes at least one protrusion configured to slide into the receiving recess for engaging with a lateral wall of the power plug when the arm slides towards the second position.

    Abstract: An apparatus is provided to verify the integrity of the confinement boundary of a spent nuclear fuel dry storage canister in operation. An external-convection blocking device is used to temporarily isolate the dry storage system or the dry storage canister from the ambient environment to form an isolated space. A gas sampling-and-analyzing device is connected to the isolated space to measure the leak rate or concentration of helium or radioactive gases which release from the dry storage canister. After the leak rate or concentration of helium or radioactive gases is measured, the integrity of the confinement boundary of the dry storage canister can be verified to further enhance the safety of the spent nuclear fuel dry storage.

The stamper having a second surface is disposed in the first concavity. The first and second surfaces are coplanar, and the second surface has transfer printing microstructures. The first and second surfaces are suitable for coated an adhesive layer. The pressing roller presses a base film onto the adhesive layer, such that the adhesive layer is integrated with the base film. The curing unit cures the adhesive layer on the base film, such that a taper corresponding to the second concavity and optical microstructures corresponding to the transfer printing microstructures are formed on the adhesive layer.

    Abstract: A concrete cask is used for storing a nuclear spent fuel dry storage canister. The cask has a shape of a vertical cylinder and is able to isolate the stored nuclear spent fuel dry storage canister from the ambient environment and shield the radiation from the stored nuclear spent fuels. An insulating ring is used for improving the dissipation and the transference uniformity of decay heat generated from the stored nuclear spent fuels. The insulating ring thus prevents the temperature of the concrete wall adjacent to the canister from exceeding specified limit. An Air inlet and an air outlet are used to generate a natural convection for moving out the decay heat. Therein, the vertical concrete cask is prevented from being overheated. Thus, the present invention improves the storage safety of a dry storage system.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a microfluidic chip for culturing microorganism and a method of operating the same. The microfluidic chip includes a first input unit, a second input unit, a connection unit connected to the first and second input units, a plurality of control valves, and a ring-shaped storage structure connected to the connection unit and having first and second growth chambers that store a microbial solution. The first and second input units provide first and second solutions, respectively. The first solution is transferred into the first or second growth chamber through the connection unit to treat and discharge a portion of the microbial solution. The second solution is transferred into the first or second growth chamber to discharge the first solution. The control valves are actuated to mix the second solution and remainder of the microbial solution in the ring-shaped storage structure.

The present invention can decrease the amount of the waste oil of the waste gas and prolongs the service life of the suction pump.
