Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatuses for message generation receive one or more keywords that are indicative of a message subject matter. Based on the keywords, information related to the keywords is searched, and message preferences of a message recipient are determined. A natural language message is created using the information related to the keywords and the message preferences, and the message is sent to the message recipient.

Abstract: A method and apparatus provides for interpreting a foreign word or phrase using a contextual likelihood model and a dictionary. An apparatus may translate foreign language text by taking context into account and displaying the translation with alternatives on an adaptive user interface display. The contextual likelihood model may be interlaced with a dictionary. In an embodiment, the interaction between the contextual likelihood model and a dictionary may result in an adaptive adjustment of the meanings or the order of meanings displayed. The order of meanings displayed may be representative of the calculated likelihoods.

Abstract: An improved, high-quality Thai text-to-phoneme converter. Syllabification is performed strictly according to the Thai pronunciation rules. Initial vowels, Thai syllable structures, special vowels, leading vowels, syllables with silent marks, unterminated vowels and terminated vowels are used to accurately implement the Thai syllabification. After syllabification, the most probable phonemes are obtained for all of the syllables using a rule-based approach in one embodiment of the invention.
