    Abstract: A touch mouse including a pressure sensing region, a touch sensing region, and a control unit is disclosed. The pressure sensing region is disposed at a first side and a second side of the touch mouse, and the touch sensing region covers at least the pressure sensing region at the first side. The first side is opposite to the second side. When the user clicks the pressure sensing region, it generates a pressure sensing signal. When the user clicks the touch sensing region, it generates a touch sensing signal. When the pressure sensing signal and the touch sensing signal are generated, the control unit outputs a first clicking signal representing that the first side is clicked. When the pressure sensing signal is generated but the touch sensing signal is not, the control unit outputs a second clicking signal representing that the second side is clicked.

    Abstract: An input device for controlling multiple computers includes a storing unit, a sensing unit, a controlling unit, and a transmitting unit. The controlling unit calculates a moving direction and a displacement value of the input device according to the sensing unit to determine one of the computers which the input device is in control of and generates an input command for it. The input command includes identification of the controlled computer and is transmitted to multiple computers. The computer corresponding to the identification performs the input command. The moving direction corresponds to a pointer direction of the computer. The controlling unit accumulates the displacement value to be a first accumulated displacement value when the input device moves toward to a first pointer direction. When the first accumulated displacement value is larger than a threshold value, the controlling unit switches the input device to control another one of computers.

    Abstract: A scrolling speed controlling method of an input device is disclosed. The method includes detecting one or more notches rolled by a scrolling unit of the input device in operation, wherein each notch corresponds to a number of scrolling lines; calculating a time duration between two adjacent notches and determining whether the time duration is smaller than or equal to a threshold time; when the time duration is smaller than or equal to the threshold time, the scrolling unit is determined to roll in a fast-rolling mode and the number of scrolling lines corresponding to each notch is increased progressively; accumulating the numbers of scrolling lines corresponding to the rolled notches to generate an accumulated number of lines; outputting a control command to the computer to instruct the computer to scroll the document according to a designated number of lines instructed by the control command; and subtracting the designated number of lines from the accumulated number of lines.

The temperature control circuit detects the changes of the temperature from a user's hand and thereby generates temperature control signals. The central controller controls the operation status of the mouse according to the temperature control signals, wherein when the temperature detected is within a predetermined temperature range, the central controller wakes the mouse and allows the transmission of signals from the mouse to the host computer; otherwise the central controller stops the transmission of signals. The temperature controlled mouse prevents accidental activation due to negligent bump.
