    Abstract: An inventive UE carrier aggregation (CA) capability reporting signalling model allows UEs (30) aggregating large numbers of component carriers to transmit CA-relevant capabilities to the network more efficiently than the current (legacy) signalling model. Rather than reporting CA/MIMO/CSI/NAICS capabilities separately for each supported band combination, including fallback configurations, embodiments of the present invention either report UE Radio Frequency (RF) and Baseband (BB) related capabilities separately, or report them disassociated from CA band configurations. This approach avoids the need to signal the full UE (30) set of capabilities for each of (possibly many) supported band combinations. Furthermore, fallback capabilities are signalled implicitly, eliminating the need to transmit this data.

Activity data is collected from the wearable activity tracker using a smartphone app operating on the building occupant's smartphone, and a comfort value is determined using the smartphone app based on the activity data. A report of the comfort value is transmitted to a building automation system (BAS) app from the smartphone, and the output of a building system is controlled based on the comfort value.

A fault can be detected using sampled data from a first monitored point in the power system. Detection of fault transients and associated characteristics, including transient direction, can also be extracted through evaluation of sample data from other monitored points in the power system. A monitoring device can evaluate whether to trip a switching device in response to the detection of the fault and based on confirmation of an indication of detection of fault transients at the other monitored points of the power system. The determination of whether to trip or activate the switching device can also be based on other factors, including the timing of receipt of an indication of the detection of the fault transients and/or an evaluation of the characteristics of the detected transients.

    Abstract: A lifetime value estimation of a web-based advertisement can be generated at the time of creation of a reservable listing in response to the advertisement, even when little to no information about conversion of the reservable listing is available. In a case that there is no information about a conversion time for a listing, the estimation of the lifetime value is done by calculating a real conversion rate from an advertising platform-dependent historical conversion rate, an average percentage of converted listings that converted from unreserved to reserved within a set period of days, and a scaling multiplier. Where there are relatively few conversions, the estimation of a lifetime value for the advertisement can be done using a weighted average of a campaign-level global conversion rate, which encompasses a large number of keywords that have seen conversions, and a keyword-level local conversion rate.
