  • Publication number: 20240129781
Abstract: Disclosed are various techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a user equipment (UE) identifies a set of positioning sources, each positioning source comprising a positioning reference signal (PRS) resource, a PRS resource set, a PRS frequency layer, and/or a transmission/reception point (TRP). From the set of positioning sources, the UE identifies a consistency group comprising a collection of positioning sources grouped based on expected values of at least one metric of a reference signal from each positioning source, measured values of the at least one metric for the reference signal from each positioning source, and an error threshold. The UE identifies one or more subsets of positioning sources within the consistency group, each subset having at least one metric error value. The UE reports, to a network entity, information about the consistency group and information about at least one of the subsets of positioning sources within the consistency group.

  • Publication number: 20240126936
Abstract: A multi-scale aggregation pattern analysis method for a complex traffic network is provided, which belongs to the field of the highway traffic network. Firstly, an adjacency matrix, a position attribute matrix, a distance weight matrix, a road grade matrix, and a time-phased traffic congestion degree matrix of a highway traffic network are calculated; secondly, a weight influence factor of the road network is incorporated based on a PageRank algorithm to determine order of critical nodes; finally, a two-dimensional decision diagram is drawn by two indicators: order of critical nodes and a shortest path distance. A new weighting matrix which accords with the actual situation of the road network is obtained by incorporating a position weight matrix, a distance weight matrix, a road grade weight matrix and a dynamic traffic congestion degree weight matrix based on a similarity matrix of the spectral clustering.

  • Publication number: 20230421626
Abstract: A system and method for determining the performance of a real-time communication application, such as a video codec and transmission of the coded data. The method factors in burst data packet loss in determining a performance measure. The method uses a Hidden Markov Model on a set of data packets of a unit of data to determine the performance measure in the form a probability that all the data packets within the set are received. The measure is used to fine tune the system settings. The method causes the real-time communication application to adjust parameters of the application for improved transmission of data packets. The adjustment of a parameter can be an increase or a decrease.

  • Publication number: 20230262209
Abstract: A system and method for determining the performance of a video codec for real-time communication applications. A set of network conditions is used to simulate certain typical real-world network conditions. A coded video stream is transmitted from the transmitting end to the receiving end under these conditions. The end-to-end latency and received video fluency are measured along with a set of existing video quality measures by a video codec performance evaluation system including a network model and a video codec quality analyzer. The decodable frame ratio, latency and video fluency are used as the performance metrics for real-time communication video quality evaluation. The video codec performance evaluation system does not send any video data over a network when it determines the real-time communication quality of the video codec.

  • Patent number: 11439519
Abstract: An under-driven prosthetic hand with a self-adaptive grasping function is provided, which belongs to the field of medical equipment. The prosthetic hand simultaneously controls four fingers to implement bending and stretching movements by a first motor through structural designs of a prosthetic hand body, a finger transmission module, an inter-finger transmission module, and a thumb driving module, and limits the transmission torque between the motor and screws using a damping shaft and in cooperation with the telescopic characteristic of a telescopic component. On the one hand, mechanical damage to the prosthetic hand structure due to excessive torque outputted by the motor can be prevented. On the other hand, the self-adaptive grasping function of the prosthetic hand can be implemented. The disclosure can also effectively solve issues such as excessive volume or mass of the prosthetic hand, complicated control system, and low operation precision.
