    Abstract: A coherent optical receiving apparatus including a polarization optical splitter, a polarization controller, an optical hybrid unit, and a combiner. The polarization optical splitter is connected to an input terminal of the optical hybrid unit, and an output terminal of the optical hybrid unit is connected to the combine. The polarization optical splitter receives signal light and local oscillator light in any polarization mode, decomposes the signal light into a plurality of beams of sub signal light, and decomposes the local oscillator light into a plurality of beams of sub local oscillator light. The optical hybrid unit obtains a plurality of beams of hybrid light by performing optical hybridization on the sub signal and sub local oscillator lights, the combiner performs conversion on the plurality of beams of hybrid light to obtain and output coherent electrical signals, and the polarization controller controls polarization of the local oscillator light.

    Abstract: A coherent optical receiver, and an optical communication device and system, and relates to the field of optical communication. A polarization control component in the coherent optical receiver can deflect, driven by a feedback control circuit, a state of polarization of local oscillator light, and decompose the local oscillator light into two channels of light having equal or similar optical power. Therefore, the state of polarization of the local oscillator light is not deflected randomly and thereby coherent detection is not affected. Moreover, an azimuth of a half-wave plate device in the polarization control component can be deflected continuously, allowing continuous tracking and adjustment for the state of polarization of the local oscillator light.

    Abstract: A first optical transmission device includes a plurality of first lasers having a different corresponding wavelength, a first optical path component, a first modulator, and a first processor portion. The plurality of first lasers is connected to a plurality of optical input ports of the first optical path component respectively. The first optical path component is configured to perform multiplexing on continuous light of different wavelengths emitted by the plurality of first lasers, and perform power splitting of multiplexed continuous light thereby obtaining two paths of continuous light, send a first path of continuous light to the first modulator, and send a second path of continuous light to a second optical transmission device at a peer end. The first processor portion is configured to send a first analog signal to the first modulator. The first modulator is configured to at least modulate the first analog signal onto the first path.

The light source is configured to provide a first local oscillator optical signal and a first carrier optical signal. The optical signal processor is configured to modulate the first carrier optical signal and output a first modulated optical signal. The optical path selector is configured to transmit the first local oscillator optical signal and the first modulated optical signal to the optical signal processor or a transmission fiber. Herein, the transmission fiber is configured to transmit an optical signal to an outside of the optical transceiver apparatus.

    Abstract: A coherent optical receiving apparatus includes a polarization beam splitting unit, an optical frequency mixing unit, and a combining unit. The polarization beam splitting unit is configured to receive local oscillator light in any polarization state, and perform polarization state split on the received local oscillator light to obtain first polarized light in a linear polarization state. The optical frequency mixing unit is configured to perform frequency mixing on the first polarized light and second polarized light, and output mixed light to the combining unit. The second polarized light is polarized light in a linear polarization state obtained by splitting signal light. The combining unit is configured to combine every two paths of light output by the optical frequency mixing unit into one path for output.
