  • Patent number: 9047376
Abstract: A video segment including interactive links to information about an actor appearing in the segment may be prepared in an automatic or semi-automatic process. A computer may detect an actor's face appearing in a frame of digital video data by processing the video file with a facial detection algorithm. A user-selectable link may be generated and activated along a track of the face through multiple frames of the video data. The user-selectable link may include a data address for obtaining additional information about an actor identified with the face. The video data may be associated with the user-selectable link and stored in a computer memory. When later viewing the video segment via a media player, a user may select the link to obtain further information about the actor.

  • Publication number: 20150095938
Abstract: In one embodiment, a method receives a video for a media program and a set of captions for a dialog in the video. A media player plays the video. A time associated with playing of the video is determined and then the method determines a set of entities in relation to the time. The set of entities are included in one or more captions in the set of captions. The method displays the set of entities in a queue where the set of entities are associated with additional information for each respective entity in the set of entities.

  • Publication number: 20150003686
Abstract: In one embodiment, a method determines a first local binary pattern for a first image in a video and a second local binary pattern for a second image in the video. Then, the method determines an optical flow between the first image and the second image based on a distance between the first local binary pattern and the second local binary pattern. The optical flow is output for use in aligning the first image to the second image.

  • Patent number: 8890731
Abstract: The present invention provides a conversion circuit including: an inputting unit, a DAC connected to the inputting unit, an ADC connected to an output end of the DAC, and a comparing unit connected to an output end of the ADC. The comparing unit compares a test code set output by the ADC with a second standard test code set, and if the comparison result is in a preset error range, notify a test data collecting unit; otherwise, output the comparison result to a correcting unit. The correcting unit obtains a complementary code set according to the comparison result, and output the complementary code set to the inputting unit, so that the inputting unit updates the standard test code set according to the complementary code set and obtains the updated first standard test code set. The test data collecting unit obtains a voltage value of an input end of the ADC.

  • Publication number: 20140023341
Abstract: A method for annotating general objects contained in video content is provided. The method sends video data to a client device and receives a first annotation from the client device defining a boundary around a portion of a first frame of the video data. Then, the first annotation is tracked through multiple frames of the video content. Other annotations determined to be associated with annotation that match the first annotation within a threshold are determined where the other annotations are received from other client devices and located in the first frame or other frames from the first frame. The method combines the other annotations and the first annotation into an object track and associates a tag with the object track. The tag is input by at least one of the client devices.

  • Publication number: 20070117908
Abstract: The present invention relates to improvement of the brittleness and cold flowability of a carbon dioxide-propylene oxide copolymer (PPC). The invention provides a blend comprising 50 to 98 parts by weight of a PPC; 2 to 50 parts by weight of a poly(butylenes succinate) (PBS) or poly(butylene succinate/adipate) (PBSA); 1 part by weight of a maleic anhydride, and 0.5 to 3.0 parts by weight of SiO2 and a method for producing the same. Compared with the pure PPC, the elongation rate at break of the blend of the invention increases by 3 to 15 times while the tensile strength maintains at 30 MPa or more. The blend of the PPC and PBSA can keep its dimension stably at 70° C., while the blend of the PPC and PBSA can keep its dimension stably at 55° C. No viscous flow occurs at these temperatures.

  • Publication number: 20070117936
Abstract: The invention relates to a polymeric end-capping reagent for carbon dioxide-epoxide copolymers and a method for producing the same. The polymeric end-capping reagents provided by the invention are maleic anhydride copolymers and maleic anhydride terpolymers. The polymeric end-capping reagent for carbon dioxide-propylene oxide copolymers of the invention is produced by a radical solution copolymerization method, and has a number average molecular weight of Mn=4-6×104, a distribution index of 1.5-3.0. By using the polymeric end-capping reagent provided by the invention, the disadvantages of the small molecular end-capping reagent like volatilization during melting and precipitation on the melt surface during cooling, can be effectively overcome, moreover, the initial thermal decomposition temperatures of the carbon dioxide-propylene oxide copolymers end-capped with the polymeric end-capping reagents increase by about 30° C.
