Abstract: A switching method and system between heterogeneous networks are provided. In the switching method: a terminal sends identity information and a network access identifier to a home subscriber server (HSS) through a mobile management entity; the HSS sends the network access identifier to an access gateway, receives a seed key, sends the seed key to the terminal, calculates and sends a local key and a local identifier to an authentication, authorization and accounting (AAA) server; the terminal calculates a second handoff key and a second handoff identifier; and the AAA server sends a calculated first handoff key to an access point of the target network, for the access point and the terminal to execute a network switching operation. Communication traffic of a re-authentication process can be effectively decreased when a cellular network is switched to a WLAN, thereby decreasing time delay of re-authentication and increasing probability of success in switching.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus to adaptively manage data collection devices in distributed computing systems are disclosed. Example disclosed methods involve instructing a first data collection device to operate according to a first rule. The example first rule specifies a first operating mode and defining a first event of interest. Example disclosed methods also involve obtaining first data from the first data collection device while operating according to the first rule. Example disclosed methods also involve, in response to determining that the first event of interest has occurred based on the first data, providing a second rule based on the first data to the first data collection device, and providing a third rule to a second data collection device. The example second rule specifies a second operating mode and defines a second event of interest, and the examples third rule specifies a third operating mode.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a protection method and device of mobile payment information, the method includes: dynamically updating, by a card manufacturer's server, replacement code information corresponding to each payment account information stored in the card manufacturer's server; each time after the card manufacturer's server updates the replacement code information corresponding to each payment account information stored in the card manufacturer's server, updating a mapping relationship between the payment account information stored in the card manufacturer's server and the replacement code information according to the updated replacement code information; sending the updated replacement code information and payment account information corresponding to the updated replacement code information to a mobile terminal, to enable the mobile terminal to perform a mobile payment using the updated replacement code information.

Abstract: A method for adjusting transmission power of a terminal includes: acquiring a distance between a human body and the terminal; retrieving, from a prestored table indicative of correspondence between distances and power adjustment values, a power adjustment value corresponding to the distance between the human body and the terminal; and adjusting transmission power of the terminal based on the power adjustment value. According to the method for adjusting transmission power of the terminal provided by the disclosure, antenna power output by the terminal is adjusted in real time according to the current distance between the human body and the terminal.

Abstract: A method and system for allocating memory in a RAID system. A RAID system requires the use of shared memory to store processed data related to operations of different mass storage devices. Certain RAID algorithms require different sizes of memory regions of the memory, and multiple requests to lock the required memory regions are therefore required. As multiple requests are made in parallel for different operations, the multiple requests for each operation are sorted in a predetermined order. This ensures that all memory regions for one operation can be locked. Requests for memory regions locked by a second operation are held in a pending state to wait for release of those memory regions by a first operation, at which point they are locked again by the second operation.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a migration method and an apparatus, which relate to the field of communications technologies and are invented for implementation of proper configuration of different network resources. The method includes: sending, by a base station of a first network, information to a user equipment, where the information is used for: migrating, by the user equipment, from a second network to the first network, where the user equipment is in an idle state relative to the first network; or determining, by the user equipment, whether to migrate from the first network to the second network, where the first network is a 3GPP network, and the second network is a non-3GPP network. The present invention is mainly applied to a process of network migration of the user equipment.

Abstract: Methods, apparatuses, and storage media associated with compaction of data from one or more computing devices are disclosed. In various embodiments, one or more Internet of Things (IoT) devices may transmit information to a computing system. The computing system may group together raw data received from these one or more IoT devices based on a shared attribute. The computing system may select a compaction scheme to represent the knowledge conveyed by a group of the raw data. The computing system may apply this compaction scheme to the group of raw data to generate data that is representative of the group of raw data. Other embodiments may be disclosed or claimed.

Abstract: A corner transition module includes a module case, a LED PCB board, a curved face cover. The LED PCB board is set in the space defined between the module case and the curved face cover. The module case is mounted on a LED installing position. A plurality of LED installing holes is provided on the curved face cover to couple with the LEDs on the LED PCB board. The corner transition module solves the problem that two flat display screens being angularly connected in resulting in a display defects with a black line at the connecting corner. With the corner transition module, the non-planar screens are seamlessly connected to form a perfect full-screen display effect in high-performance graphics display without any black line.

Abstract: A wireless handle for a battery tester, comprising a wireless signal transmitting/receiving means capable of exchanging information with a battery tester through wireless communication; an information input means; an information output means; and a signal processing and control means, wherein the wireless signal transmitting/receiving means, the information input means, and the information output means are coupled with the signal processing and control means. The wireless handle enables an operator to control some functions of the battery tester and/or monitor detected information remotely during the process of testing, which can increase efficiency of the testing and avoid any disturbance of the testing circuits caused by the information input means and the information output means.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure disclose a data retransmission communication method and a terminal for implementing inter-base station carrier aggregation, where the method includes: receiving, by a first Radio Link Control (RLC) entity of a terminal, a packet data unit PDU; and when the first RLC entity determines that the PDU reaches a maximum quantity of retransmissions, instructing, by the first RLC entity, a second RLC entity of the terminal to transmit the PDU, where the first RLC entity is corresponding to a first base station, and the second RLC entity is corresponding to a second base station. By using the method and the terminal in the embodiments, frequency of RRC connection re-establishment is reduced, and a data packet loss caused by frequent re-establishment is further avoided, thereby improving user experience.

Abstract: The present invention provides a communication security processing method and an apparatus. The communication security processing method includes: determining, by a base station, that user equipment UE needs to access an access point AP; acquiring, by the base station, a security parameter that is required for the UE to interact with the AP; after an air interface is securely activated, sending, by the base station, the security parameter to the UE, so that the UE performs, by using the security parameter, security processing on data exchanged between the UE and the AP. According to the communication security processing method and the apparatus that are provided in the present invention, a security air interface between UE and a base station is used to transfer a security-related parameter, which improves data communication security, and enhances network control performed by an operator.
