  • Patent number: 10898072
Abstract: The invention relates to a method and a system for evaluating reliability of results in a visual reaction test taken by a user. Method steps with following phases are repeated several times: A visual test stimulus with a recognisable value is shown to the user, at a stimulus time-point; The user reports when she recognises the stimulus value, at a reporting time-point; A variable and relatively short delay time is inserted between the visual stimuli; Reaction times between the stimulus time-points and the reporting time-points are recorded; Step times are calculated as a sum of the delay time and reaction time for each step. Correlation between step times and delay times or correlation between reaction times and delay times is compared with predefined correlation values for reliability and thereby the level of reliability of the results is determined.

  • Patent number: 10835117
Abstract: This invention relates to testing and determining a threshold value used in psychometric testing in field of ophthalmology, neuro-ophthalmology and visual neuropsychology. The method comprises at least the following steps: a) displaying a symbol with a distinctive visual appearance and with a stimulus level to a display at a stimulus time-point, the symbol selected from a group of possible symbols, b) monitoring if a response is given on a response device with multiple choices, each choice representing a possible visual appearance or location of the symbol, and b1) if a response is not given in a response time-limit from the stimulus time-point, increasing the stimulus level of the symbol by a predetermined step and returning to step a), or b2) if a response is given in the response time-limit from the stimulus time-point, comparing the response to symbol displayed in step a), and c1) if the response does not correspond to the symbol displayed in step a), producing, e.g.

  • Patent number: 10702141
Abstract: The invention relates to a perimeter or a campimeter with a visible fixation point and a method used in them. The method comprises at least the following steps: producing a fixation point having a first visual appearance to be shown to a patient; producing a stimulus shown to the patient at a stimulus time-point at a pre-defined location; activating a response device by the patient upon noticing the stimulus at a response time-point; changing the fixation point to have a second visual appearance for a fixation point second visual appearance time interval near the stimulus time-point.

  • Patent number: 10537240
Abstract: This invention relates to a method for providing markers for evaluating and/or practising the visual field recognizable by an eye, and/or eyes, and/or visual system of a person. The method relies on the reporting of the person of identifications of fixation objects only identifiable when the eye or eyes of the person are accurately fixated on the fixation object. Accordingly active monitoring of a saccade, if a saccade triggering stimulus is employed; or smooth pursuit, if smooth pursuit triggering stimulus is employed, of the eye of the person is not needed for determining whereto to eye or eyes are fixated. The present invention also relates to the use of a system employing the method of the invention. The present invention further relates to a system for the method of the invention and a software product for the system.

  • Patent number: 6928174
Abstract: A microphone structure comprising a microphone (M) and an electro-static discharge protector (ZD) placed close to microphone capsule (300), preferably inside it. Further the structure comprises within the microphone capsule an e.g. ladder-type filter having parallel capacitors (C31, C32, C33) and series resistors or coils (R31, Z) protecting the microphone from radio frequency disturbances. Structure parts may be on same circuit board or in same integrated circuit (IC). Structure is less susceptible to RF disturbances than known structures and its production costs are lower.
