  • Publication number: 20110193512
Abstract: An energy farm system that harnesses energy from the environment has an integrated energy collector that harnesses solar light radiation, solar heat radiation, and harnesses wind energy. Some embodiments of the collector may be used for powering lights on a pole, communication equipment outdoors, and be suitable for powering homes and buildings. The collector harnesses wind energy by a horizontal axis rotation wind mill, harnesses solar light radiation by using a system of lenses that focus light to the center to the photovoltaic cells, and harnesses solar heat radiation by using a system of lenses that focus heat to the center to a heat exchanger. The collector mounted on a pole receives solar energy from the sun rays, as the sun travels from east to west. The lens elements focus light and heat radiation towards the center of the collector to a solar cell array and a solar energy collector.

  • Publication number: 20110173122
Abstract: A system of bank security for reducing fraud losses due to unauthorized transactions in online commerce has a mobile authorization service (MAS) system with interfaces with a financial institution's computer systems that maintain customer's accounts and mobile wireless devices of the customers. The MAS system enables authorizations, of payment authorization requests that are received for payment on the account of the customers that are maintained at the financial institution, by the customers themselves in real time, before authorizing such payment transaction requests by the financial institution. The MAS system authorizes payment on those payment authorization request transactions that are on a pre-authorized transaction list and for those transaction that are not on the list, the transaction is authorized by a secure mobile contact means with the customer, thereby reducing payment on transaction that have not been authorized and thus reducing bank's fraud losses.

  • Publication number: 20110163989
Abstract: A user interface in handheld devices has a touch screen for generating control signals for control of an electronic device, with a continuous touch movement detection on the touch area from a begin cell to an end cell via a middle cell, in the logic memory of the touch screen. The continuous touch movement detection in the logic memory creates substantially an arc touch movement from the begin cell to the end cell. The arc touch movement in the logic memory of the touch screen is used to generate a control command signal for the electronic device. The continuous touch movement creates substantially a ninety degree arc, or a semi-circle, or closed figure touch movement in the logic memory. The touch movement detections, clockwise or anticlockwise, convex or concave are used to generate different control signals for the device and thus provide a large number of navigation control functions.

  • Publication number: 20110154561
Abstract: A motor motorcycle rider safety harness that is suitable to be worn by a motorcycle rider. The safety harness is shaped to position and has positioned on it multiple air-bags that correspond to specific locations of a human body joints that would bear the impact of a falling motorcycle rider in an accidental separation of the rider from the motorcycle. The airbag inflation means may be on the harness on the rider body or it may be on the motorcycle. The inflation control module has (i) sensor means to sense the onset of an accident; (ii) logic means to compute the time for activation of the airbag inflation, and (ii) compressed air storage means, for inflating the air-bags on the onset of the accident. The control module may be on the body of the rider near the stomach area or on the motorcycle itself.

  • Publication number: 20110119184
Abstract: A financial transaction system between a customer and a financial institution has a central system that facilitates private and secure payment transactions from a customer of the financial institution to a payee and that stores personal and private data of a customer that is referenced to an identification of a wireless mobile device of the customer. The central system receives financial transaction requests from the mobile device for transaction from a one or bank accounts of the customer. The central system identifies and verifies the customer and assembles payment authorization transaction requests and submits the payment transaction record to the customer's financial institution, thereby reducing the number of people and systems who would have access to the private data of the customer, and thus reducing the number of fraudulent financial transactions.

  • Publication number: 20110095988
Abstract: An integrated control mechanism integrates a touch sense control mechanism on the top and an electrical switch control mechanism underneath the touch sense control mechanism. The integrated control mechanism is operated by a thumb-tip touch action on surface of the touch sense control mechanism to operate the touch sense control mechanism and by thumb-tip pressure on the same touch sense control mechanism to operate the electrical switch control mechanism underneath. Using an integrated control mechanism operated by a human thumb-tip enables the human hand to hold handheld devices in the palm and fingers and the human thumb-tip via the integrated control mechanism to be able to operate various functions and operational modes of the handheld device. The integrated control mechanism may be used in many types of handheld electronic devices.

  • Publication number: 20100253620
Abstract: A system of touch screen user interface in a touch screen equipped handheld electronic device has a bounded control area on a touch screen that is used for touch control in lieu of the entire touch screen surface. The control area is able to provide touch control user interface functions of scroll, zoom, action item selection, and other control functions. The control area may be minimized enabling the entire touch screen to resume its touch screen control function in lieu of the control area control and maximized enabling only the bounded control area to be used for touch screen control depending upon a user's preference. The bounded control area for selection control functions may be used in conjunction with unique type of hop-cursors, for different types of displays that change automatically when the display content changes.

  • Publication number: 20100214234
Abstract: A user interface in handheld devices has a bounded touch screen control surface that is operable by a thumb tip and is oversized to the size of a thumb tip. The touch screen control surface is approximately sized to be around a ¾ inch square less or more and is partitioned into touch areas. The touch areas may include five overlapping areas of a top area, a bottom area, a left area, a right area and a center area for a simpler user interface control surface. There may be nine separate areas, including one center area and eight surrounding areas. When the thumb tip is placed on any one of these area and moved in a straight line or in a circular line by sliding action between different areas of these nine areas can provide a large number of navigation control functions.

  • Patent number: 7688976
Abstract: A random wave envelope is created from a set of bounded random numbers by additively combining a triangle, a square and a sine wave. The random wave envelope is then used to create a sequence of wave random numbers from the wave envelope, which are used to generate random-variant keys for encryption in place of the pre-placed encryption key. An ambiguity envelope is thus created over the transmission of data packets as random-variant-keys are used that are distinct and separate for each packet and may also be distinct and separate for each incoming and outgoing packet. The random-variant keys are only created at the time of the actual use for encrypting or decrypting a data packet and not before and then discarded after one time use. The random-variant keys may be used in wireless network using wireless access points, cellular phone and data networks and ad hoc mobile wireless networks.
