In one aspect of the invention, a method for showing search information includes processing, by a hardware processor, a search query input of a user; providing, via a user interface component, a preview of a number of search results corresponding to at least a portion of the processed search query input; detecting, by the hardware processor, activation of the user interface component; and displaying at least a portion of the search results in response to the activation of the user interface component.
