    Abstract: The pagewidth inkjet printer provides for simultaneous printing across a horizontal portion of a sheet of paper, as opposed to horizontal scanning of a conventional inkjet printer. The pagewidth inkjet printer includes a platen for incrementally translating a page of paper and a controller for selectively driving rotation of the platen. A housing is mounted adjacent to the platen and is fixed with respect thereto. A plurality of print heads are mounted within the housing. Each print head has a plurality of nozzles for selectively ejecting ink, and each nozzle is adapted for ejecting a distinct color of ink. The plurality of nozzles of each print head are aligned in a direction parallel to a direction of translation of the page of paper. The plurality of print heads are arrayed and aligned linearly along a direction orthogonal to the direction of translation of the page of paper.

In one preferred embodiment the invention facilitates the use of a digital image capture module such as a digital camera or digital video camera in performing an equivalent function to a flatbed scanner in recording digital images. In another preferred embodiment the invention facilitates the use of a regular camera in recording photographic images of the bound document. In yet another preferred embodiment the invention facilitates the use of a flatbed scanner in recording digital images.

    Abstract: There is disclosed a method and compounds for treating floor tiles to make them dust proof. Treated tiles by said method and compounds acquire the property of not collecting dust after dust storms in dusty regions and having a clean appearance. The disclosed method comprises coating of said tiles with said chemical compounds by rubbing to create a thin transparent protective sealing layer which prevents the sticking of dust particles that are eventually swept away by winds. The disclosed method is simple and the disclosed compounds are widely available and cheap. Furthermore, the invention saves money and effort of continuously cleaning in dusty regions.

Use of the composition through parenteral administration for the prevention and treatment of viral-induced tumors, lesions and diseases in mammals such as humans or to prepare a medicament is also disclosed. The composition is very effective in preventing and treating viral infections and manifestations as hyperplasia, keratosis, and dermatosis and in particular those caused by Papillomavirus and more particularly Human Papillomavirus. Among the many benefits, the present compounds provide high remedial effect and complete resolution in a relatively short course of treatment with no risk of side effects what so ever. The composition is abundant, inexpensive, easily prepared, and may be self administered to the afflicted area by the patients themselves.

    Abstract: There is disclosed an inkjet printer containing an array of stationary printheads/color-cartridges aligned along the page width of the page to be printed with overlapping and non-overlap arrangement. The printhead is in the form of an elongate printhead cartridge for use in a pagewidth printer and can be attached to the ink supply units along the sides and along a back surface thereof. The pagewidth inkjet printer has many advantages over the conventional inkjet printers with moving printhead/color cartridge assembly and the prior art patent pagewidth inkjet printer cartridge formed using MEMS techniques. Alternate overlapping printhead arrangement is provided ensuring no gaps in printed images due to the low nozzle packing densities permitted by the standard inkjet technologies for adequate print coverage of the printed page.
