Abstract: A method and apparatus for providing dry ice with a beverage is provided. Providing dry ice with the beverage includes causing a vessel containing pressurized carbon dioxide to expel the pressurized carbon dioxide into a trap, thereby forming dry ice and opening the trap. Opening the trap exposes the dry ice formed to a liquid.

Abstract: A portable water treatment device that utilizes a foot-powered actuator to impel water through a filter is disclosed. The actuator moves to generate negative pressure that draws water to be treated into the interior of a housing, then moves to generate positive pressure to impel the water thus drawn in through a filtration device and to impel treated water out of the device. In some embodiments the water treatment device includes two actuators that are coupled to move in tandem.

Abstract: A portable water delivery system is described. The system includes a container with an opening, and a filtration system disposed in the opening. The filtration system has two chambers connected by a one-way valve conduit. A pump is disposed in the first chamber and a filter cartridge is disposed in the second chamber. As the pump is pulled upward, water is drawn from the container into the first chamber via a one-way valve inlet. As the pump is pushed downward, water is pushed from the first chamber to the second chamber via the one-way valve conduit and out the spout of the container.

Abstract: A wireless repeater comprises dual cancellation loops. The wireless repeater includes an active cancellation loop and a passive cancellation loops. The active cancellation loops reduces an environmentally induced signal component from a receive signal entering the repeater's amplifier. The passive cancellation loop reduces leaked signal component from the received signal.
