A method for replying to an entity mechanism is provided comprising the steps of retrieving an entity wherein the entity includes a message and replying to the message in response to a predetermined reply mechanism parameter.

Abstract: A system and method are provided for implementing entity bookmarks. The system includes an entity having an addressing mechanism, a selectable resource and means for selecting the resource. The addressing mechanism may be a universal resource identifier (URI). The method for implementing entity bookmarks comprises selecting an identifier associated with a resource, and associating the identifier with an entity bookmark, wherein the resource is accessed by selecting the entity bookmark.
