  • Publication number: 20240104003
Abstract: An integration application comprising a plurality of components may be provided. The components may provide connections between systems. The integration application may be configured to allow the systems to exchange data. It may be determined that a new version of a first one of the components is a candidate for release. Prior to release of the new version of the first component, the integration application may be tested using the new version of the first component and an existing version of the first component. An instance of the integration application may be automatically caused to be upgraded to include the new version of the first component.

  • Patent number: 10474372
Abstract: A system and method for provisioning a volume and repartitioning a provisioned volume based at least in part on a workload. A request to provision a volume of a specified size is received, a first set of partition options is determined based at least in part on the specified size, and second set of partition options is determined based at least in part on one or more performance characteristics. A volume partitioning is determined based at least in part on an intersection of a number of partitions between the first set of partition options and the second set of partition options, and further based at least in part on a set of optimization criteria. Based at least in part on tracked usage of the volume or a repartition request, a determination is made to repartition the volume such that the partitioning scheme fulfills a set of optimization criteria.

  • Patent number: 10402377
Abstract: A computing system recovers volumes in a distributed computing environment while reducing downtime of storage servers. In an embodiment, a storage server contacts a control plane after a storage failure has occurred. If the storage server hosts an authoritative copy of an offline volume, the storage server is requested to restore the volume. Non-authoritative volumes are removed from the storage server and the storage server provides read access to the restored volume while resuming storage services.

  • Patent number: 10200301
Abstract: A distributed system may implement logical control groups for distributed system resources. A request for a particular system resource may be received at a request routing tier for a distributed system that is implemented by multiple computing systems in different respective availability zones. One or more resource control nodes of a resource control tier for the distributed system that are members of a logical control group for the particular system resource may be discovered. A logical control group for the particular system resource may include at least one resource control node in a different availability zone than the availability zone that includes the particular system resource. The request may then be sent to one of the discovered resource control nodes in the logical control group in order to service the request for the particular system resource.

  • Patent number: 10057187
Abstract: A distributed system may implement dynamic resource creation for connecting resources. Resource creation requests may be received for resources which are accessed by other resources hosted in a distributed system. An intention for the creation request is stored to perform the creation request. At a subsequent time, a request to connect another resource to the resource of the creation request is received. An infrastructure locality for the other resource may then be identified and utilized to determine a placement location for the resource. The resource may then be created at the placement location according to the stored intention. The resource may then be connected with the other resource for access.
