  • Patent number: 10399968
Abstract: Problem to be Solved There is a need for a new antibiotic having a novel mechanism of action which exhibit strong antibacterial activity not only against sensitive bacteria but also against resistant bacteria thereof, and at the same time possesses excellent solubility an a safety profile amenable to human use. Solution to the Problem As a result of intensive research, the present inventors have found that a compound represented by general formula (I), a stereoisomer, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof inhibits DNA gyrase GyrB subunit and/or topoisomerase IV ParE subunit possesses excellent solubility and a safety profile for use in humans for the treatment of bacterial infectious diseases.

  • Publication number: 20130030573
Abstract: A method and device are disclosed for automatically providing control parameters for a plurality of coal mills supplying coal powder for example to a furnace of a power plant. An exemplary method includes (a) acquiring a multiplicity of operation variables indicative of a load of an individual coal mill for each of the coal mills; (b) acquiring a demand variable indicative of a coal demand from the plant; (c) supplying the acquired multiplicity of operation variables and the demand variable to a computing system; (d) calculating the control parameters based on the multiplicity of operation variables and the demand variable using a multivariable calculation algorithm; and (e) providing the calculated control parameters for controlling each coal mill individually.

  • Publication number: 20120329016
Abstract: A method for delivering online content to a target group is disclosed. The target group in the exemplary embodiment comprises health care professionals. The method comprises providing two or more learning groups, where each learning group is associated with corresponding learning objectives for the target group. The method further includes profiling the health care professionals based on different attributes to provide a professional profile for each health care professional. Further, a mapping is done for the health care professionals with the two or more learning groups based on the professional profile. Adaptive content is then selected from a library based on the professional profile and the adaptive content that is personalized based on professional profile is delivered to the health care professionals.
