  • Publication number: 20200273222
Abstract: In implementations of freeform gradient style transfer, a style transfer system transfers a style of a freeform gradient of a source geometry of an object to a target geometry of an additional object. The system adds source mesh handles to a boundary of a source mesh of the object, and the system also adds target mesh handles to a boundary of a target mesh of the additional object. The source mesh handles are mapped to the target mesh handles, and the system warps the source mesh to appear as the target mesh based on the mapping. Color point locations of the freeform gradient are mapped from the source mesh to the warped source mesh to transfer the freeform gradient style from the source geometry of the object to the target geometry of the additional object.

  • Patent number: 10015495
Abstract: Methods and systems for compressing images include generating custom quantization tables for quantizing frequency information associated with an image. Specifically, one or more embodiments determine acceptable error percentages during compression of a digital image based on content of the digital image. For example, the acceptable error percentages are defined by compression error thresholds that limit how much error a quantizer in a quantization table can introduce during compression of the digital image. One or more embodiments generate the custom quantization table by determining quantizer values that produce compression errors that meet the compression error thresholds. One or more embodiments compress the digital image using the custom quantization table.

  • Patent number: 8681786
Abstract: The invention relates to an internet application flow rate identification method based on message sampling and application signing, comprising the following steps: firstly, message sampling capture: in accordance with sampling strategy and sampling rate the message is captured and decoded; secondly, decoding: the flow information and application data of the message is analyzed by decoding the message; thirdly, flow classification: according to the flow information of the message, a flow state table is found and maintained; fourthly, flow state distinguishing: the signature is matched if the application type of the flow state found through the flow classification is unknown; finally, signature matching: according to the application signature bank, the application data of the message is matched, if matched successfully, the application type of the flow state is updated, and the flow information and application type of that data stream is output.

  • Publication number: 20110194555
Abstract: A receiver for maintaining parameters of packets received from a transmitter is provided. In the receiver: a first module receives packets from the transmitter and decodes the packets to obtain corresponding payload data, wherein each received packet is transmitted in accordance with a first set of parameters predetermined before decoding of the packets, a second set of parameters which are dynamically determined when the packets are being decoded, and a third set of parameters which are determined after the packets have been decoded. Also, a record generating module generates a record for each received packet, wherein the record comprises the first set, the second set, and the third set of parameters and a buffering module stores the record and corresponding payload data of each received packet. A second module retrieves the record and corresponding payload data from the buffering module, and processes the corresponding payload data according to the record.

  • Publication number: 20070147556
Abstract: Provided is automatic gain control (AGC) in which a feedback filter has a parameter that is changed based on information regarding data-packet boundaries. In one representative embodiment, the bandwidth of the filter temporarily is increased, or the time constant of the AGC filter temporarily is decreased, within a vicinity of each actual or potential packet boundary.

  • Publication number: 20060233283
Abstract: A method and system is disclosed for weighting soft values of a demodulated symbol. An incoming symbol is demodulated for obtaining a plurality of soft values associated with the incoming symbol based on a modulation constellation. An effective signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of at least one soft value, which is to be a reference for decoding, is obtained, as well as effective SNRs of all other soft values. A set of weights are then calculated for the soft values based on a ratio between each SNR and the reference, wherein the weights are applied to the soft values based on the ratios for further decoding thereof.

  • Publication number: 20060176985
Abstract: A method and system is disclosed for providing an automatic gain control in signal processing. After receiving a stream of analog signals, a gain is adjusted on the received analog signals using a first set of gain compensation parameters. Then, the adjusted analog signals are converted to digital signals. A predetermined number of digital signals are collected from the converted digital signals within a predetermined time period. The collected digital signals are delayed from being transferred out for further demodulation processing for a predetermined delay time. At the same time, a second set of gain compensation parameters are estimated based on the collected digital signals. The estimated second set of gain compensation parameters are applied to the delayed digital signals.
