The resolution and the rendering position of an object are taken into consideration to shift the rendering position of the object so that the boundary of an interpolated area extended from one pixel in the expansion of the object into the bitmap data matches the boundary of a compression rectangular area for use in the resolution compression. Thus, the compression rate of the resolution compression is improved.
