In general, the GUI allows a designer or the like to “graphically” configure: a hierarchy of categories representing the assembly line; the process points along the assembly line; the different events that can be triggered at the process points; the actions that are taken in response to the events; the processes (sequences of actions) for the events; and the input parameters for the events and the actions. In a typical embodiment, the GUI is maintained on a system that is separate from the central computer controlling the assembly line. This not only allows the assembly line to be configured remotely, but also without ceasing operation of the line.

The present method conducts a first search based on key words or phrases, receives the selection of a given document relative to a result of the first search, and then conducts a second search based on the selected given document. If in the second search the given document was extracted in a previous retrieval process made by a user, a document having a history of being selected concurrently with the given document is extracted. Any document concurrently selected by the user with respect to the document extracted in the second search is automatically stored and noted as being associated with the search request.

    Abstract: A threaded document display system generates a virtual document by combining documents within a thread, enabling easy understanding of relations between threaded documents and providing the ability to view multiple documents in a required collection simultaneously. A relation between threaded documents is extracted as a tree structure. A section group with this tree structure is generated in a virtual document from the extracted tree structure before mapping a relation between the documents. Contents of documents corresponding to respective sections are mapped and displayed. Consequently, a plurality of documents may be mapped into a single virtual document. The display shows the content of the virtual combined document rather than a document list. Even if a section is treated as an object embedded in a higher sentence, such as a nested structure, relations between independent documents may be mapped into a single document without expanding a text of the higher document.

    Abstract: A system and method execute search and retrieval techniques relative to previously stored documents or other objects. The system generally comprises a terminal and a server. The terminal requests the server to perform a preparation search based on a search term before requesting the extended search. The designated document is a document selected from a result of the preparation search. The server stores as a selection history the search term used in the preparation search along with the retrieval result. In addition, the system determines a selection frequency for each document that is measured with respect to selected documents with which it is retrieved. The present method conducts a first search based on key words or phrases, receives the selection of a given document relative to a result of the first search, and then conducts a second search based on the selected given document.

In the process of returning to a normal operation mode, an I/O address showing a change line status register of the FDC is set to a stored register of the trap logic (status 173). When the process returns to the normal operation mode and an access to the first status register is trapped, a change line status flag value is rewritten (status 174). The faked OS/driver invalidates the floppy disk allocation information in the main memory.

    Abstract: Sludge deposit is stored in a sludge deposit receiving hopper, and the stored sludge deposit is fed onto a belt conveyor and transferred to a mixer. A hardener is fed to this mixer from a hardener hopper. A conveyor belt is disposed on the belt conveyor to measure the quantity of the sludge deposit transferred by the belt conveyor. According to this measured value of the transferred sludge deposit, the quantity of the sludge deposit fed from the sludge deposit receiving hopper and the quantity of the hardener fed from the hardener hopper are controlled. The sludge deposit is mixed and kneaded with the hardener, and the sludge deposit is solidified.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a device for constructing a tubular pile foundation in soft soil formations. Where in use, the device is suspended into the soft soil from a crane or a derrick on the earth or a working barge off shore. The device for stabilizing a body of the soft soil comprises a machine box holding driving means, driving shaft means connected to said drive means, agitating barrel means for stirring the soft soil disposed at the lower end of said driving shaft means, said agitating barrel means having a plurality of agitating blades, and a chemical hardener feeder system for injecting the hardener into the soft soil to form solidified tubular piles, said chemical hardener feeder system including swivel joints, delivery pipes and injection nozzles. The device can be moved upward and downward in course of constructing tubular solid piles in situ by agitating and mixing the soil with the hardener to provide the high bearing capacity to the soil layers.
