  • Patent number: 5752099
Abstract: An optical unit for detecting a focus state. The optical unit has a focus detection zone restricting plate having a plurality of openings arranged in a first pattern in a vicinity of a predetermined focal plane on which an object image is formed. A sensor unit having a plurality of sensor sections is arranged in a second pattern, different to the first pattern, in a vicinity of an image reforming surface on which the object image is reformed. A plurality of mirrors deflect light transmitted through the plurality of openings arranged in the first pattern toward the plurality of sensor sections so as to have a direction identical to a direction of the second pattern of the plurality of sensor sections. The plurality of openings and the plurality of sensor sections are provided on a body of the optical unit. The plurality of mirrors are provided on members separate from the body of the optical unit.

  • Patent number: 5420438
Abstract: A focus detecting apparatus is provided including an image reforming optical system which splits a bundle of rays incident upon a detecting zone, which is provided on a predetermined focal surface, and reforms an image. The predetermined focal surface is substantially conjugate with a focal plane of a taking lens. The focus detecting apparatus further includes a line sensor which receives the reformed image, a detector which detects a focus state of the taking lens in accordance with an output of the line sensor, and a driver which moves the detecting zone on the predetermined focal surface.

Abstract: A mounting apparatus for an interchangeable lens camera has a mount lock member which is provided on a body mount of a camera body and which can be disengageably engaged in a lock hole on the interchangeable lens mount. A mount lock releasing member moves in association with the mount lock member and retracts the mount lock member from the body mount when the mount lock member is pushed in. Contact members on the body mount and the lens mount are brought into contact with each other when the interchangeable lens is locked to the camera body, wherein the contact members provided on the camera body have contact pins which can retractably project from the body mount and which are continuously biased to project from the body mount. When the mount lock member is retracted from the body mount, the contact pins are also retracted from the body mount.
