  • Patent number: 11935813
Abstract: A semiconductor device includes a semiconductor module having a wiring board, semiconductor assemblies that include a multilayer substrate on which semiconductor elements are mounted, and a sealing part; a cooler; and a heat conduction sheet which is placed between the semiconductor module and the mounting surface of the cooler and which is in contact with the bottom surfaces of the multilayer substrates. The heat conduction sheet has recesses corresponding to at least parts of the outer edges of second electrically conductive plates provided on the bottoms of the multilayer substrates.

  • Publication number: 20070272387
Abstract: A method for producing a ductile cast iron product, wherein the cast iron product contains sulfur in an amount of 0.009 to 0.015 wt % and magnesium in an amount of 0.035 to 0.050 wt %, and wherein a dried sand is used for a mold. The method can be suitably employed for producing, at a low cost, a ductile cast iron product which is not chilled and has a ferritic structure, and thus is soft and exhibits great ductility even when it is a thin product. The present invention has been completed based on the finding that the combination of the increase in a certain degree of the content of sulfur, which has been considered to be a substance interfering with the formation of spherical graphite, with the lowering of the rate of cooling allows the production of a ductile cast iron product which is not chilled and has a ferritic structure, and thus is soft and exhibits great ductility even when it is a thin product.

  • Publication number: 20030075248
Abstract: A method for reducing blow holes existing in a light alloy cast by using the hot isostatic process (HIP), comprising the steps of heating the light alloy cast at a temperature that is 5-100° C. lower than a temperature at which the liquid phase of the light alloy cast appears, and pressing the heated light alloy cast by a liquid pressure media, thereby reducing the blow holes existing in it.

  • Patent number: 5841041
Abstract: A porous mold material is provided that contains pores for ventilation in a metal casting, which pores range from 20 to 50 microns, and wherein the porosity value of the porous mold material ranges from 25 to 35% by volume. A method is further provided of producing a porous mold material that contains pores ranging from 20 to 50 microns for ventilation in casting, which method is characterized in that the mixing ratio of stainless steel particles to stainless steel short fibers is from 40 wt %:60 wt % to 65 wt %:35 wt %. The porous mold material of this invention does not have defects such as the inferior fluidity of a molten metal in the mold, or the shrinkage and blowholes in cast products.

  • Patent number: 5800790
Abstract: A filter is provided for treating carbon-based particles in exhaust gas discharged from a diesel internal combustion engine, etc., said filter providing in addition to a high throughput capacity, excellent durability, and good economic and maintenance properties, and a device for treating carbon-based particles in exhaust gas having a high throughput capacity, the regeneration of which is easy. This filter is obtained by cutting an end face of a coiled material that is obtained by winding a sheet of a high-temperature resistant stainless steel having resistance heat-generating properties to produce fibers, gathering the thus-produced fibers to form a web, sintering the web, heat-treating the sintered web to form an alumina film on the surface of the sintered fibers, and optionally supporting a catalyst on the alumina film.
