  • Patent number: 7608966
Abstract: A rotor includes a rotor core, a permanent magnet inserted into an opening formed along a circumferential direction of the rotor core, and end plates provided to sandwich the rotor core in a direction of a rotation axis. The permanent magnet is fixed to the rotor core with an adhesive. A stainless steel plate is provided between the rotor core and each of the end plates, the stainless steel plate having a linear expansion coefficient falling between that of the rotor core and that of the end plates. An outer periphery of each of the end plates in a circumferential direction has a portion placed to be radially inward with respect to an outer periphery of the stainless steel plate.

  • Publication number: 20090256420
Abstract: A line connection structure for a PCU includes: the PCU mounted in an engine room positioned on a front side of a hybrid vehicle; an air cleaner that is provided on a rear side of the vehicle so as to face the PCU and that includes a resin portion deforming easier than electric equipment; and a cable connected to the PCU. The cable is formed by three-phase cables of U, V, and W phases being gathered. The cable is connected to the PCU on the side surface of the PCU positioned on the vehicular-rear side. The three-phase cables positioned between the PCU and the air cleaner is provided so as to align on the identical plane parallel to the width direction of the hybrid vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20080261414
Abstract: A connector includes a main body supporting a power cable, and a sound-proof member attached by a bolt to the top surface of the main body identified as the sound emitting surface to absorb sound emitted from the main body due to vibration. The main body includes a base provided with bulges in which three power cables are accommodated, respectively, and a lid over the base with power cables accommodated. The sound-proof member is effective as long as it is attached to the side face of the lid where it is expected to readily emit noise, i.e., on one side. The sound proof member can be also attached to the side face of the base. A connector having sound generated from the connector caused by vibration reduced is provided.

  • Publication number: 20080258668
Abstract: A stator position adjustment method for a motor drive device that includes a motor case, a rotor shaft supported by the motor case in order to rotate a rotor inside the motor case, and a stator disposed at an outer circumference of the rotor concentrically with the rotor and having a configuration in which the stator is tightened and secured to the motor case by a tightening unit that tightens the stator along a rotor axis. The method includes the steps of setting a first tolerance range as a maximum tolerance range of a stator axis in which a first gap is formed between an outer circumference surface of the stator and an inner circumference surface of the motor case; measuring a position of the stator axis; and adjusting the position of the stator axis within the first tolerance range based on a measured position of the stator axis.

  • Publication number: 20080173484
Abstract: A first motor and a second motor are housed in a case with a power split-integration mechanism and a reduction gear provided therebetween. Each of the first motor and the second motor is assembled from a stator formed by stacking stator members, which are made of the same material which have the same structure and which have the same diameter, and a rotor formed by stacking rotor members which are made of the same material which have the same structure and which have the same diameter such that the thickness of the stator and the rotor corresponds to the power that needs to be output from the motor. Thus, the variety of the components constituting the first motor and the second motor can be reduced, and the efficiency in the assembly and production of the first motor and the second motor can be improved.
