Abstract: A reflecting member having roughness is formed on a surface above a substrate and transferred onto a film with an adhesive layer interposed therebetween. For example, a removable organic insulating layer having roughness on a surface thereof is formed above a glass substrate, and then a metal layer is formed on the rough surface of the organic insulating layer, thus forming a reflecting member. The reflecting member is then transferred onto the film with and adhesive layer interposed therebetween.

Abstract: The present invention includes the steps of forming a reflecting member having roughness on a surface thereof above a substrate and of transferring the reflecting member onto a film with an adhesive layer interposed therebetween. Abstract: A photosensitive resin composition and a photosensitive liquid for forming colored images are produced from (1) a resin comprising molecules having carboxyl groups and (2) an arene compound, [(Ar)(CpM)n]n+nX− wherein Ar denotes an aromatic compound; M denotes a metal cation; Cp denotes an anion of cyclopentadiene; X denotes an anion; and n denotes a positive integer. Especially, an arene compound, [(Ar)(CpM)2]2+2X−, can realize a photosensitive resin composition with excellent stability and photosensitivity, a photosensitive liquid for forming colored images with excellent light resistance, and color filters.

Abstract: A reflection-type color filter (30) is disclosed, in which light coming into one surface of a color filter layer (36) is reflected by a reflective layer (40) and allowed to pass through the color filter layer (36) twice. Colored patterns of the color filter layer (36) include resin such as polyimide and dye for dyeing the resin. The thickness of the colored patterns is 0.7 &mgr;m or less. In order to enhance light resistance, it is effective to increase the content of dye with respect to resin. The value of 0.7 &mgr;m is established in consideration of enhancement of optical characteristic and light resistance of the color filter used in the reflection type liquid crystal display device. In order to enhance light resistance, more preferably, a metal complex is added to the resin.
