    Abstract: A communication device includes a reception unit configured to receive data transmitted from another communication device in response to a notification indicating an amount of data allowed to be transmitted, a storage unit configured to store the received data in a storage area, a determination unit configured to determine whether or not another buffer can be secured, in addition to a reception buffer having a capacity reserved upon establishment of a logical communication path between the communication device and the another communication device, the another buffer being configured to store data that cannot be stored in the reception buffer among the received data, a decision unit configured to decide the amount of data allowed to be transmitted from the another communication device based on a result of the determination, and a notification unit configured to send, to the other communication device, a notification indicating the decided amount of data.
