  • Patent number: 7325863
Abstract: A heat shield plate attaching portion on a vehicle body has an engaging hole. On an elastic heat shield plate, an engaging projection is formed to elastically engage with the engaging hole. The engaging projection has, from its base side to its tip side, a small diameter axis portion with substantially the same outside diameter as an inside diameter of the hole, a shrinking large diameter engaging portion with a larger diameter than the inside diameter, a pinch portion for pulling with a smaller diameter than the inside diameter, and a hollow portion formed at the axial center of the small diameter axis portion, the hollow portion communicating with the outside atmosphere. The plate is attached to the attaching portion in such a manner that the large diameter engaging portion engages with the opening edge of the hole.

  • Publication number: 20060213640
Abstract: A heat exchanger support structure has a first heat exchanger, a second heat exchanger, and a radiator core support for supporting the first heat exchanger. The first heat exchanger has a lower supporting pin projecting downward from a lower portion of the first heat exchanger. The second heat exchanger arranged in front of the first heat exchanger and having an upper portion and a lower portion The upper portion is supported by the radiator core support and the lower portion is supported by the lower supporting pin of the first heat exchanger so that the lower supporting pin restricts a horizontal movement of the second heat exchanger and allows a vertical movement of the second heat changer.

  • Patent number: 7044536
Abstract: A hood lock stay couples, in the vertical direction of a vehicle, center portions of a radiator core support upper member and a radiator core support lower member, respectively extending in the transverse direction of the motor vehicle. The hood lock stay secures a hood lock to the upper portion thereof. The radiator core support upper member is formed to have an open cross-sectional shape provided with at least a wall portion. The upper portion of the hood lock stay is disposed so as to cover the opening of the opened cross-section of the radiator core support upper member so that a box shape is formed. In this state of forming the box shape, these two are coupled.
