Abstract: In a variable capacity compressor having a rotary type cylinder compartment (24a), plural return ports (33) formed in a volume-decrease-step space in the cylinder compartment (24a), an exit (34) formed in a volume-increase-step space in the cylinder compartment (24a), a C-shaped guide passage (35) for connecting the plural return ports (33) and the exit (34), an arc-shaped slider (36) provided slidably for gradually opening and closing the plural return ports (33), a spring (37) for pushing the arc-shaped slider (36), and a pressure control valve (42) for pushing the arc-shaped slider (36) in opposite direction to the pushing of the spring are provided; and thereby a wide variable capacity range is realized with compact size and high efficiency.

Abstract: An improved rotary compressor of sliding vane type in which a rotor head portion is provided where the peripheral surface of the rotor approaches the inner peripheral surface of the cylinder so as to divide the interior of the cylinder into a discharge side and a suction side for fluid, while the cylinder is formed with a seal portion where a clearance between the rotor and cylinder at the rotor head portion is formed into a wedge-like configuration in a rotational direction by an arc having a radius of curvature smaller than a radius of the cylinder.

Abstract: A rotary compressor of the sliding vane type which is constructed to prevent seizure during high speed operation, with increased volume efficiency through reduction of leakage of refrigerant, and simultaneous improvements in refrigeration cycle efficiency by the prevention of entry of oil into the refrigeration cycle.

Abstract: An improved vane type rotary compressor provided with a control mechanism of a lubricating oil supply passage by which the lubricating oil supply passage is arranged to be opened during operation of the compressor, and to be closed during shut-down of the compressor for obtaining a sufficient amount of lubricating oil supply during operation and also for preventing reverse rotation during shut-down of the compressor.
