  • Patent number: 7409276
Abstract: A rotary electric machine (1) which constitutes a prime bar of a vehicle and an electricity storage device (10) serving as a main power source of the rotary electric machine (1) and composed of a plurality of capacitor modules (11) in which a plurality of capacitor cells make one set are provided. A hybrid control unit (3) which comprises a means for calculating assigned voltages of the capacitor modules, a means for calculating an average value of the assigned voltages of the capacitor module, and a means for equalizing the assigned voltages of the capacitor modules based on the average value. By restricting a difference among the assigned voltages of the capacitor modules (11), it is possible to fully utilize a capacity of the electricity storage device (10).

  • Patent number: 7275795
Abstract: A hybrid system for a vehicle which can ensure a braking stability on a slippery road is provided. Therefore, the system is provided with a motor 2 a rotation force of which is transmitted to a rear wheel 7, braking actuators 57, 67 which brake the front wheel 6 and the rear wheel 7, and proportional valves 53, 63 controlling a braking force introduced into each braking actuator 57, 67. A control unit 20 is so provided that the control unit 20 calculates a required braking energy based upon a vehicle operating condition in demanding a braking and operates the motor 2 as a power generator to generate a power so as to produce the calculated braking energy, as well as controls a braking force of the front wheel 6.

  • Patent number: 5517965
Abstract: The present invention relates to a governor device for an internal combustion engine where a portion of the engine output is taken off as driving force for vehicle mounted accessory equipment which requires constant speed rotation with changes in load. By controlling the intake air quantity passing through a bypass passage which bypasses a mixing device for mixing fuel and intake air at a predetermined ratio, controlling a sub-throttle valve provided in an intake passage in series with a main throttle valve, and controlling a supply quantity of auxiliary gas fuel so that a detected air-fuel ratio is constant, the engine output is increase/decrease controlled in spite of changes in load in accessory equipment, to give constant engine rotational speed and good operability of an auxiliary power take-off device.
