    Abstract: Provided is a conveyance seat equipped with a side airbag device with which an airbag can be inflation-deployed in a more stable state. The conveyance seat includes a seat back and a side airbag device attached to a side portion of the seat back. The seat back includes a back frame having a side frame and a side support member attached to the front part of the side frame and protruding to the seat front side beyond the side frame. The side airbag device has a first airbag inflated on the outside surface side of the side frame and a second airbag inflated on the inside surface side of the side frame. The second airbag passes through a gap formed between the side frame and the side support member in the seat front to back direction and is inflated on the inside surface side of side frame.

The vehicle seat includes: a pressure-receiving portion to receive a load from an occupant seated on the vehicle seat; and a frame to support the pressure-receiving portion. The occupant protection apparatus further comprising an electronic control circuit configured to perform moving the pressure-receiving portion so that the occupant is pushed away from the side wall before the occupant comes into contact with the side airbag at an activation time when the side airbag device is activated by an impact acting on the side wall from an outside of the vehicle and the side airbag is inflated and deployed.

The outer wall is partitioned by the outer wall groove in an up to down direction into an upper opposite surface and a lower opposite surface, and one of the upper opposite surface and the lower opposite surface has an up-down length at a vehicle front side, which is larger than an up-down length at a vehicle rear side.
