  • Publication number: 20120018046
Abstract: A method of manufacturing a compressed wood product that is obtained by compressing and forming a wooden piece, includes applying a compressive force to a blank piece that is cut out from raw wood and has a predetermined shape while sandwiching the blank piece between a pair of metal molds; and dividing the compressed blank piece into a plurality of portions by cutting. A compression rate, at the compressing, of an area of the blank piece corresponding to a boundary of the portions divided at the dividing is higher than compression rates, at the compressing, of other areas of the blank piece. A width of the boundary is larger than a cut width that is obtained when the blank piece is cut at the dividing.

  • Patent number: 6285515
Abstract: A lens is formed in a generally rectangular shape, and a reflection-preventing portion capable of preventing reflection of harmful rays is provided on at least one edge plane forming at least a portion of the perimeter of the lens, so that the lens is capable of suppressing deterioration of the quality of images including object images formed by a photographic lens system, in order to obtain better photographic images.

  • Patent number: 6026245
Abstract: An imaging apparatus having a main power source in a main unit thereof, a lens frame supported so that it can be moved in an optical-axis direction relative to the main unit of the imaging apparatus, a lens frame driving mechanism for advancing or with drawing the lens frame in the optical-axis direction relative to the main unit of the imaging apparatus, an actuator placed in the lens frame, and a connector included in the lens frame driving mechanism in order to electrically connect the main unit of the imaging apparatus with the actuator and supply power or a driving signal to the actuator.

  • Patent number: 5748390
Abstract: An imaging lens system comprises an axial support section, such as a support hole, a notch, and a guide sleeve, integrally formed with a lens and arranged generally within the maximum diameter of the lens but outside an effective area of the lens through which an imaging light is transmitted. The imaging lens system also comprises a guide shaft that slidably supports the axial support section for a advancing and recessing motion of the lens. The area outside the imaging light transmitting area is effectively used. A small component count, compact and low-cost design is implemented in the imaging lens system.
