  • Patent number: 5169483
Abstract: An apparatus for attaching a tire component member to a rotating toroidal green case includes support shafts whose axes are located substantially in a plane including a rotational axis of the green case. Stitching rollers are supported by the support shafts and rotatable about the axes of the support shafts, respectively. An urging device moves the stitching rollers toward the green case to urge outer circumferences of the stitching rollers against the tire component member. A swing device serves to swing the stitching rollers to continuously move contact points of the stitching rollers with the tire component member from an axially inside to an axially outside, to attach the tire component member to the outer surface of the green case.

  • Patent number: 4786156
Abstract: A remote control side mirror device for a vehicle capable of rotating a mirror housing with respect to a mirror base fixed to an automotive body by a motor driven remote control. The motor driven by a remote control is fixed in the mirror housing to rotate a first gear through a reduction gear. A support shaft for rotatably supporting the mirror housing vertically is formed at the mirror base, and a second gear engaged in mesh with a first gear is arranged at the mirror housing side of the support shaft. Since the second gear is stationarily connected by the frictional force to the support shaft through a friction transmitting mechanism. When the motor is driven, the mirror housing is rotated around the support shaft of the mirror base. When the mirror housing receives a strong external force, the second gear can slide around the support shaft to prevent the reduction gear from damaging.

  • Patent number: 4603695
Abstract: An adhesion preventive for preventing adhesion between vital tissues is provided. The present adhesion preventive is a molded material consisting essentially of a biodegradable and absorbable polymer. It has an advantage of requiring no reoperation for its removal since it would be degraded and absorbed after completing its function in vivo.
