In the push type scanner apparatus, for transmitting image data, a destination address is specified; a mail to be transmitted to the specified destination address is created; an appended file comprising the image data read by the scanner apparatus and appended to the mail is created; and the created mail and appended file are outputted to the network.

Abstract: A selling system adopting the invention includes a storage medium storing information on a product to be purchased as purchase information, and a selling device that reads the purchase information from the storage medium and provides the product according to that purchase information.
