  • Patent number: 5805545
Abstract: The invention is recorded information reproducing device suitable for use in a kara-oke device and the like which reproduces sound information recorded on an information recording medium such as a CD (Compact Disk), LVD (laser Video Disk) or the like according to the MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface) standards, and which also allows repeated practice in synchronization with the progress of music in kara-oke and the like. The recorded information reproducing device which reproduces sound from an information recording medium M on which encoded musical information AI and control information CI are recorded according to the MIDI standards. The recorded information reproducing device 100 includes a musical information reproduction unit for decoding the musical information to output reproduced musical information S.sub.A ; a control information reproduction unit for decoding the control information to output a clock signal S.sub.

  • Patent number: 5369725
Abstract: A system for controlling the pitch between an original sound and a reproduced sound system in which generation of tremolo sound is suppressed and a clock is used commonly for write timing and read timing of a ring buffer. Digital data are obtained by sampling an analog input signal and data are interpolated before writing to a memory of the ring buffer, and a plurality of write positions are provided and the data is written while controlling addresses. Address spacings between a plurality of read memory positions are different from each other. Coefficients are set within a range from a predetermined negative value to a predetermined positive values according to address spacing to write memory position for each of the read memory positions, and the data read from each of a plurality of read memory positions are multiplied by the corresponding coefficient. The resultant data values are summed up and are used as output data. Further, a comb line filter is provided in a signal path.

  • Patent number: 5301236
Abstract: A first monophonic signal within a predetermined frequency range and a second monophonic signal at least outside of the predetermined frequency range are produced from a monophonic input signal. A simulated-stereo device is provided for dividing each of the first and second monophonic signals into stereo-simulated signals. The level of the first monophonic signal is compared with the level of the second monophonic signal. The level of the first stereo-simulated signal is attenuated when the level of the first monophonic signal is higher than the level of the outside monophonic signal.

  • Patent number: 5142959
Abstract: A MIDI apparatus and a MIDI system wherein an operation ON signal for starting operation to a MIDI instrument and an operation OFF signal for stopping the operation are obtained and supplied to the MIDI instrument in response to a MIDI format signal included in a subcode signal generated during play of a record medium play apparatus. If the play state of the record medium play apparatus becomes discontinuous, such as a pause after the operation ON signal is supplied to the MIDI instrument and before the operation OFF signal corresponding to the operation ON signal is obtained, the operation OFF signal is forcedly supplied to the MIDI instrument. Thereby such the sound of the MIDI instrument is stopped when there is a discontinuous play state after the operation ON signal is supplied to the MIDI instrument and before the operation OFF signal corresponding to the operation ON signal would ordinarily be supplied.

  • Patent number: 5065433
Abstract: An audio signal data processing system comprises an input device sequentially supplying incoming audio signal data, a data memory control device writing and reading-out the audio signal data into and from a data memory, a delay memory control device sequentially reading-out the audio signal data from the data memory and storing the data into a delay memory and sequentially reading-out the audio signal data from the delay memory and writing the data into the data memory, an arithmetic device multiplying predetermined coefficient data by the audio signal data having been read-out by the delay memory control device and written into the data memory and summing up results of the multiplication.
