    Abstract: A wiring harness has a waterproof structure in which a waterproof agent covers a conductor exposed portion-and outer peripheral surfaces of end portions of wire covering members of a plurality of insulated wires in succession, the portion including a splice portion where portions of the members of the insulated wires are removed and the exposed conductors are spliced together and a bundle of the exposed conductors of the insulated wires, the end portions being adjacent to the portion, whereby the portion is sealed with the waterproof agent, wherein the waterproof agent is a cured product of an ultraviolet curable adhesive agent that contains (A) an ester acrylate having a linear or branched C2-C12 alkyl group, (B) a (meth)acrylate compound comprising at least two urethane bonds in one molecule, and (C) a photopolymerization initiator.

    Abstract: It is an object of the present invention to ensure a high water-stopping property of a wire harness including a waterproofing connector section that is molded from a resin, by suppressing a variation in the outer size of a seal section of the connector section. The connector section is made from a first synthetic resin that is insert-molded with a part of a terminal fitting of the terminated electric cable used as an insert section. A water-stopping section is made from a second synthetic resin that is insert-molded with a section extending from a part of the terminal fitting to an insulation coating of the terminated electric cable used as an insert section. The seal section is made from the second synthetic resin that is insert-molded with a part of the connector section used as an insert section. The second synthetic resin is softer than the first synthetic resin.

The (meth)acrylate has one or more structures represented by Formula 1 in the molecule, and when the (meth)acrylate is used for radical curing, the sensitivity is enhanced. In Formula 1, R1 is a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, R2 is a C1-C10 alkyl chain, R3 is either Formula 2 or 3, and R4 is an alkyl chain constituted by carbon atoms and hydrogen atoms.

    Abstract: A curable sensitizer that exhibits a radical-polymerization sensitizing ability that conventional sensitizers do not have in a polymerization reaction using radicals, and is easily available at a low cost, a photocurable material containing the sensitizer, a cured product of the photocurable material, and a material for a wiring harness containing the photocurable material. The curable sensitizer contains an alcohol (meth)acrylate synthesized from an alcohol having one or more hydroxy groups and two or more oxygen atoms in a molecule and a (meth) acrylate ingredient selected from a (meth)acrylic acid and a derivative thereof. An ester bond is formed between one of the hydroxy groups of the alcohol and the (meth)acrylate ingredient. The sensitizer is capable of increasing curability of a curable material when mixed in the material. The photocurable material contains the curable sensitizer and a photoinitiator. The material for the wiring harness contains the photocurable material.
