  • Publication number: 20090079292
Abstract: An interphase insulating sheet of rotating electric machine is disclosed The interphase insulating sheet includes a first insulating portion, a second insulating portion, and at least one bridge piece. The first insulating portion includes at least one first coupling aid integrally provided with the first insulating portion to extend from an opposing end of the first insulating portion facing the second insulating portion. The second insulating portion includes at least one second coupling aid integrally provided with the second insulating portion to extend from an opposing end of the second insulating portion facing the first insulating portion. A first end portion of the bridge piece is heated welded to the first coupling aid. A second end portion of the bridge piece is heated welded to the second coupling aid. The first coupling aid has a first positioning hole. The second coupling aid has a second positioning hole.

  • Publication number: 20080317614
Abstract: An electric compressor is disclosed in which gas in a motor housing of a rotating electric machine is drawn into a compression chamber and then discharged by the rotating electric machine. The rotating electric machine includes a stator, teeth, coils of different phases, and phase-to-phase insulation sheets provided between coils of different phases. An inlet port is provided in the motor housing. The inlet port draws gas from the outside of the motor housing. An inflow direction of the gas flowing through the inlet port intersects a coil end of one of the coils. A part of the phase-to-phase insulation sheet faces the inlet port and covers an intersection surface of the coil end that intersects the inflow direction.

  • Publication number: 20070257576
Abstract: Outer circumference of a rotor is alternately provided with a plurality of circumferential portions and a plurality of convex portions. Straight lines each connecting a rotational axis to one of circumferential centers of circumferential portions are referred to as radial lines. Straight lines each bisecting one of convex portions are referred to as bisectors. A plurality of magnetic flux blocking regions are located on a rotor. One of the magnetic flux blocking region is located in a range between the radial line and the bisector adjacent to and preceding the radial line in the rotation direction. Therefore, a permanent magnet embedment rotating electric machine is capable of preventing decreases in torque and suppressing torque ripple.

  • Publication number: 20060267443
Abstract: A stator includes a cylindrical stator core and a coil. The stator core is formed by stacking a plurality of core sheets. The stator core has a groove formed in an outer circumferential surface thereof and a slot. The coil is inserted in the slot. The groove is located parallel to an axis of the stator core and the slot is skewed with respect to the axis.
