The present technology can be applied to a television receiver compatible with ATSC 3.0, for example.

Broadcast reception data received by a receiving device via a communication unit is set as a media source object corresponding to a processing object of an application executed by the receiving device under an application programming interface (API). The application executes a synthesis process of the broadcast reception data and network reception data received via a network as processing for the media source object. The application obtains a time offset corresponding to a time difference between an application time axis and a broadcast time axis on the basis of an API application process to execute a high-accuracy and low-delay data synthesis process.

Abstract: Provided is an information processing device that processes a dialogue of an audio agent. The information processing device includes an acquisition unit that acquires audio information of an agent device that is played back through interaction with a user and audio information of other contents different from the audio information of the agent device, and a controller that performs sound field control processing on an audio output signal based on the audio information of the agent device acquired by the acquisition unit.
