    Abstract: A method for recovering a cyclic olefin resin includes: a composite material containing at least a cyclic olefin resin, and a different resin that is different from the cyclic olefin resin is dissolved in a solvent capable of dissolving the cyclic olefin resin to produce a solution, and a different resin component, which contains the different resin, is precipitated out; the solution is filtered and a filtrate is obtained by removing the different resin component; and a composition containing the cyclic olefin resin is obtained from the filtrate.

Recovering the recycled raw materials includes: forming, into individual pieces, the packaging material and/or the resin layer from which the printed layer has been removed; and separating the printed layer from the packaging material and/or pieces of the packaging material to obtain the resin layer from which the printed layer has been removed and/or pieces of the resin layer from which the printed layer has been removed. One of the recycled raw materials is polyester-based resin, and the other is polystyrene-based resin.
