    Abstract: An information processing system capable of controlling bursting more appropriately is provided. The information processing system includes: a credit management unit that manages a credit amount for controlling allocation of a resource amount of resources via the bursting with respect to each of a plurality of operation targets; and a bursting management unit that calculates the resource amount to be added via the bursting with respect to each of the plurality of operation targets according to the credit amount managed by the credit management unit and issues an instruction to a storage apparatus to allocate each calculated resource amount to each of the plurality of operation targets.

    Abstract: The billing amount can be flexibly changed according to the resource amount and the value of the data processing resources in an API provider's system platform at the time that the API was provided. An API billing system has an API provider system platform and an API connection platform. In the API billing system, the API provider system platform is configured such that a storage apparatus or a storage controller which controls the storage apparatus, can be added to the device configuration in addition to the API server, and the API provider system platform executes processing of the API requested from the application with a processor which differs according to its device configuration, and the API connection platform calculates the API usage fee based on the specification and utilization history of each device included in the processor upon execution of the processing of the API.
