Patent number: 7978048Abstract: A keyless entry system includes a portable transmitter that transmits a lock signal and an unlock signal, each of which contains a unique identification code, for a predetermined period, and an operation unit that locks and unlocks doors of a vehicle in response to the lock signal and the unlock signal from the portable transmitter. The operation unit includes a receiver that outputs a lock command signal or an unlock command signal having a predetermined time length, and a controller that drives an actuator to lock or unlock the doors of the vehicle in response to the lock command signal or the unlock command signal from the receiver. The time length of the unlock command signal from the receiver is shorter than the time length of the unlock signal from the portable transmitter.Type: GrantFiled: February 27, 2006Date of Patent: July 12, 2011Assignees: Alps Electric Co., Ltd., Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd.Inventors: Hideki Ueno, Noritoshi Yuzuriha, Tatsuya Michishige

Patent number: 7221065Abstract: A power window system includes an occupant existence determination unit and a power supply unit. The occupant existence determination unit determines whether an occupant is in the compartment or outside the passenger compartment, by receiving a signal from a portable device held by the occupant. The power supply unit supplies a power to a window driving unit when the occupant existence determination unit determines that the occupant is in the compartment and when the vehicle ignition key is in an OFF state.Type: GrantFiled: October 14, 2004Date of Patent: May 22, 2007Assignee: Fuji Jukogyo Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Yoshinori Amagasa, Tatsuya Michishige

Patent number: 7161477Abstract: A seat belt alarm apparatus according to the present invention executes a weak alarm pattern in which an alarm lamp is blinked and lighted repeatedly when a seat belt switch is turned on and a seat belt is unfastened, and a vehicle speed is equal to or less than a buzzer sound start vehicle speed. When the vehicle speed is more than the buzzer sound start vehicle speed, the seat belt alarm apparatus executes a strong alarm pattern in which the alarm lamp is blinked and lighted repeatedly as well as a buzzer is sounded in synchronism with the blinking of the alarm lamp, and the alarm operation is continued until the seat belt switch is turned off and the seat belt is fastened.Type: GrantFiled: June 28, 2004Date of Patent: January 9, 2007Assignee: Fuji Jukogyo Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Yosuke Ohtomo, Tatsuya Michishige

Publication number: 20040164843Abstract: When a request switch is actuated in a state where a signal outputted from a transmitter cannot be received, a cipher is inputted in accordance with the number of times the request switch is actuated. An answer back operation in response to the actuation of the request switch is performed by illuminating a lamp provided in a passenger compartment. An inputted cipher is checked by referring ciphers stored in a storage section in advance. When a coincidence exists, the control section outputs a control signal to a door lock motor drive section, thereby actuating a door lock motor to unlock a door lock.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 19, 2004Publication date: August 26, 2004Applicant: Fuji Jukogyo Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Yoshinori Amagasa, Tatsuya Michishige
