  • Publication number: 20230363852
Abstract: An imaging lighting instrument for an operation is disposed in a space between an operator's head and a patient, thereby configuring a multi-viewpoint video capturing device for a surgical operation in which blocking of a light by the operator's head or body and appearance of the head in a video are avoided. The imaging lighting instrument includes a plurality of cameras and a plurality of lights attached to a hollow ring-shaped or arc-shaped housing made of a wire member of a finite length, which is devised so as not to interfere with the visual field or work of the operator. Furthermore, the multi-viewpoint video capturing device is configured to have a function of estimating the context of the plurality of cameras and make it possible to perform operation support/recording of a direct-view surgical operation by using a multi-viewpoint video by adding a video information processing function for selecting a camera video in which an operators' hand or surgical instruments less appear in an image.

  • Publication number: 20150313994
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide surface-modified ferromagnetic iron oxide particles suitable for electromagnetic-induction cancer ablation, which have excellent heat generation properties and also have excellent dispersion stability in a medium for injection. The surface-modified iron oxide particles for cancer ablation of the present invention as a means for achieving the object are characterized in that a block copolymer of polyethylene glycol and polystyrene having a phosphorous acid group in the side chain is bound to the surface of ferromagnetic iron oxide particles having a plate-like shape with a length of 20 to 200 nm and a length-to-thickness ratio of 1.5 to 30 and having magnetic properties such that the coercivity is 30 to 300 Oe, the saturation magnetization is 20 to 80 emu/g, and the squareness ratio of the magnetic hysteresis loop is 0.20 to 0.50.

  • Publication number: 20060121122
Abstract: A polyelectrolyte solution as a disperse phase is fed into one of the chambers which are partitioned by a plate having a plurality of narrow holes (microchannels), a continuous phase is fed into the other chamber, and pressure is applied to the disperse phase forcing it through the holes into the continuous phase so as to prepare an emulsion. This emulsion is demulsified, and at the same time the disperse phase is brought into contact with a polyelectrolyte solution having a reverse electric charge to the disperse phase or a polyvalent ion solution, and a gel layer is formed around the spherical disperse phase by a polyelectrolyte reaction. Thereby, a double-structured capsule is obtained, in which the outside is insoluble gel and the inside is a polyelectrolyte solution to which a cell has been added.

  • Patent number: 6676218
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to minimize the dependency of the vibration characteristic exhibited by the sheet-shaped supporting member supported by the metal springs on the added load. In a plurality of metal springs 41 to 44 supporting a sheet-shaped supporting member 30, a third metal spring 43 provided on the position to support the vicinity of the greater trochanter of the seated person is provided in a manner that an engagement portion with a frame member is positioned lower than the engagement portion with the sheet-shaped supporting member 30 when no load is applied. Accordingly, the feeling of something foreign created by such a third metal spring 43 can be reduced, and within a predetermined range of the added load, the third metal spring does not work functionally because respective engagement portions 43a and 43b take their positional relationship to be substantially horizontal in a static seating state, while it works functionally when the added load exceeds the above-described range.

  • Publication number: 20020096932
Abstract: A vehicle seat 10 of the present invention uses a net member of a three-dimensional structure in which a front mesh layer and a back mesh layer are connected with a number of piles, as a covering member. A seat back covering member 30 has an upper end portion 30a thereof fixed at an upper end frame 22a, while a seat cushion covering member 40 has a front end portion 40e thereof fixed to a front end frame 21a, and side portions 30c of the seat back covering member 30 is supported to be movable up and down with respect to guide frames 22d. Both the covering members 30 and 40 are placed at an extremely low elongation percentage. Accordingly, the seat is excellent in vibration absorption characteristic, because movements of a support member 50 and metal springs 60 disposed under the seat cushion covering member 40 are not restricted and a mechanism of vibration absorption by them is not hindered.
