    Abstract: A thermoplastic propylene resin composition of the present invention is obtained by blending an epoxy group containing copolymer (G) and a rubber-like material (H) and/or a modified rubber-like material (I) with a resin omposition composed of a polyamide resin (F) and a polypropylene type resin (E).The thermoplastic propylene resin composition can easily be processed into molded products, films or sheets by injection molding, extrusion molding or the like, giving products which have a good balance in various physical properties and a uniform and smooth appearance. It is suitable for purposes in which especially high heat resistance, impact resistance and low-temperature impact resistance are required.

    Abstract: A thermoplastic elastomer composition superior in moldability and appearance, little in anisotropy of mechanical properties, especially, tensile strength and retaining low temperature impact strength, is obtained by previously melt-kneading an intermediate composition comprising (a) 100 parts by weight of a selectively hydrogenated block copolymer which has at least two mono-alkenyl or mono-alkenylidene aromatic hydrocarbon polymer blocks A having a number-average molecular weight of 25,000-35,000 and at least one partially or completely hydrogenated aliphatic conjugated diene hydrocarbon polymer block B having a number-average molecular weight of 100,000-150,000, (b) 50-150 parts by weight of an extender oil and (c) 0-50 parts by weight of polypropylene I, then adding, to the kneaded intermediate composition, (d) polypropylene II containing at least 35% by weight of a propylene-ethylene block copolymer having a melt flow rate of 10-30 g/10 min.

    Abstract: A pigment master batch suitable for filler-containing polypropylene compositions is provided. This pigment master batch comprises 100 parts by weight of a propylene homopolymer having a melt flow rate of at least 10 g/10 min. and 30-200 parts by weight of a processed pigment prepared by using a metallic salt of a fatty acid, a polyethylene wax or a polypropylene wax as a dispersion medium for pigment. A filler-containing polypropylone composition in which the above pigment master batch is incorporated is superior in dispersibility and balance of properties and can easily be processed into molded articles which are superior in balance of properties such as heat resistance, impact resistance and rigidity.

The process comprises melt-mixing the components (a), (b), and (d) and then melt-mixing the resulting mixture with the component (c).

In a preferred embodiment, the polypropylene resin composition comprises 50 to 97% by weight of a crystalline propylene-ethylene copolymer resin, 0 to 20% by weight of a rubber-like material, and 3 to 50% by weight of mica having an average particle diameter determined by photo extinction sedimentation method of 0.5 to 4.5.mu. and a particle size distribution of 95% or more by weight for 10.mu. or less, 60% or more by weight for 5.mu. or less, and 10 to 80% by weight for 1.mu. or less.
