    Abstract: An adjustable wrench, particularly suitable for gripping hexagonal head bolts, or hex nuts, which may be quickly adjusted to accommodate a range of bolt or nut sizes. A manually controlled, spring loaded, toggle mechanism permits the wrench to rapidly engage and disengage the bolt head during rotation about the bolt axis without having to remove the wrench from the bolt head.
